Fired into faithlessness by a desperate longing for sexual fulfillment, she weaves a sensual web of deceit across New York. Anaïs Nin never fails to amaze

Another classic Nin work. Psycho sexual and definitely ahead of its time. Deadpan narrator but it works.

Mediocre narrator makes book fall flat

The book is an interesting one but the narrator is very boring and flat which renders it unlistenable. Shame because it is an interesting work from Nin.

Very Mysterious

Any additional comments?

Anais Nin is always impressive, and this is a book i'd never heard of. Good, straight ahead reading. THUMBS UP!

if only it wasn't racist

Pretty profound and beautifully written- I particularly enjoyed the cyclical structure - though I think that the protagonist would've been easier to empathise with if she wasn't so casually racist, repeatedly fetishising the POC characters.

Anais Nin is Always Special

Never hear of this narrator before but what a great book! Simple, direct performance and amazing tale of weirdness from Nin.

COOL!

Any additional comments?

I liked it a lot. Different sort of straight forward narration but it works. Loved anais nin. Everything she touches is magic.

Anais Nin is the best. So weird and cool. This book's narrator is a bit flat but I think it works. I'd say get this and listen today.
