Publisher's summary

How do you tell someone you're too damaged to love?

Elora lives a quiet life. Her last adventure involved a near-miss traffic accident while delivering Meals on Wheels.

When she slips on the sidewalk outside her local coffee shop, handsome Greek bodyguard Milos comes to her rescue. But Elora’s past is full of pain and betrayal. Can she open her heart to Milos this Christmas? Or will her fear quell the passion burning between them?

Escape into a world where the men love completely and love rings in the New Year. This third book in the Restrained series is a standalone novel, though minor spoilers for In His Silks are included.

Great performances by Grant and Snow. From heartbreak to happiness and Snow's sexy Greek accent.

Loved it!

This is the third book in the Series. You can listen to this audiobook as a standalone, but really, you absolutely have to listen to the first books before! I love Elora and Milos's story. Milo is a handsome, and protective man. Elora is a beautiful character, with a difficult past. I absolutely love their happy ending. I also loved to see again the other characters from the first books. The narration was really well done, as always with Grace Grant and Aiden Snow. I love their accents! I received this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.

I loved this!

I was happy to see this story featured Milos, whom I loved in the other books. It was a really beautiful and sexy as hell story about Milos and Elora finding love.
Grace Grant and Aiden Snow were absolutely fantastic in this book.

Insecurity abounds

I enjoyed the book overall. The story of Milos and Elora was heart wrenching and infuriating. That Elora’s family could treat her the way they did/do is unbelievable and unforgivable. So not only does she have physical disabilities, but the psychological trauma her family has tortured her with had to be excruciating. She feels broken and completely unworthy of love.
Milos is still reeling from the events involved in Elizabeth’s kidnapping attempt last year (books 1 & 2). And he also feels unworthy and like he’s is a killer. So between the two of them, there’s bound to be trust problems because of the insecurity. It’s a sweet and somewhat heart-wrenching journey to get them to accept their own truths.
Grace and Aiden both did a good job. There were some mispronunciations, and the accents kinds of varied throughout the book. But is was a fun listen and they both did a great job getting the emotions across.

Short story about Milos the bodyguard

Very little additional story with the main narrative. Milos, the bodyguard has difficultly dealing with guilt over the earlier shooting. He is sweet and patient. Elora is a jewelry designer with a chronic health condition, afraid of future rejections, and a father that rejected her as a teen. Together they develop a relationship.
