Publisher's summary

As a walking advertisement for the tattoo shop she's set up in a small Wyoming town, India Ellison is well acquainted with preconceived notions. Despite the odd looks, life is good. She's clean and sober, dotes on her sister's kids, and best of all, spends most of her free time with her best buddy, Colt McKay.

Reformed bad boy Colt never expected three years of sobriety to lead to three years of abstinence. Curbing his craving for booze and random sexual encounters, however, is nothing compared to the ever-increasing craving for his hot-tempered, hot-bodied best friend, India. Too bad she's his A.A. sponsor. Too bad she hasn't a clue that he's been head-over-bootheels in love with her from day one.

After an unexpected, steamy interlude, all India can think about is riding the sexy cowboy instead of her motorcycle.

Or are they risking their friendship for a fling that could burn them both?

Another sweet and spicy pair.

Colt & India’s story is bitter and sweet. They both had hard beginnings but realized they had so much in common. Their love story keeps going and gets better and better

I love a friends to lovers story! The friendship over 3 years between Colt & India really made this love story work for me. They knew each other more than anyone and they understood each other because of their mutual problems. India & Colt were both the wild child in their families. There story was hot and sweet and exactly what I wanted going into this book. After the previous books I was excited to see Colt figure his life out and find his happiness.

Again the narration was just ok, No accents!

bad boy not bad

I was expecting more from this story, maybe how she tamed the wild cowboy. I still liked the book.

This Book Went A Bit Deeper As It Dealt w/Addictio

What did you love best about Branded as Trouble?

Too bad she's his A.A. sponsor. Too bad she hasn't a clue that he's been head-over-boot heels in love with her from day one.

After an unexpected, steamy interlude, all India can think about is riding the sexy cowboy instead of her motorcycle.

Or are they risking their friendship for a fling that could burn them both?

What did you like best about this story?

That it went a bit deeper than the superficial hot, cowboy sex (not that there's anything wrong with that!) It delved into addiction, insecurities and trust.

Would you listen to another book narrated by Rebecca Estrella?

Yes, she's done the whole series. I wish she had more of a range but she does a fair to good job.

Any additional comments?

Where is my Colt?

Any additional comments?

Again, Lorelai did not disappoint! Just as good as the previous 5 books! I wish the rest of the series were available. I have No.11 downloaded but don't want to listen to it until I can listen to 7, 8, 9, and 10. Where are they? We want more Lorelai James!

I knew I was going to just love Colt and India. They are so perfect for each other. Again, the story differs from all the others, delves deeper into other issues like addiction and how others need to be less judgemental and appreciate the difficulties of getting over addictions. Colt is loveable and he is perhaps now my favourite, well, I don't know, they're all so good, it's darn well very difficult to choose!

Colt and Indie

After Colt came home from rehab, he started AA. Indie became his sponsor. They maintained a best friend relationship for three years following his sobriety. Their road to couple hood took a few hard hits. This was my favorite book of the series so far. Colt and Indie are great characters deserving a happily ever after. Loved the ending.

You want them to make it

The best friends turned lovers aspect of Indy and Colt's relationship rings true. No in the real world two people with addictive behavior should not seek and aren't likely to find a happily ever after. Still this couples special connection out of bed is even more intimate than the smoking hot sexy they Share between the sheets. It works because they both skipped innocent caring relationships in their past and built one together before they took the big scary leap into a sexual relationship. The tender open non judgmental conversations they share make you want them to make it out the other side together.

Love this series

This one is both serious - dealing with addiction - and sweet. Funny and wacky, with sexy Dom tendencies. This is a great series with lots of twists and great characters. The narrator is great with both gender voices and doesn't distract from the story so you just get lost in it.

NOT LJ's BEST !!

I really like LJ's books, this one, however, was not the best. I loved Indie and Colt and glad they finally got together but the storyline is really, really weak. Also, it ended so abruptly it almost startled me. The sex was hot, sorta, the arguments between the two tedious, and there could have been much more to the story.

I believe the best part, at least my favorite, was when Colt's dad found him at his fishing hole & talked to him and the brothers came to see him. This story did make me want to "hear" what happened with Cam, he's got to be next. Hope Audible sees fit to get the audio version.

So Disappointed

What disappointed you about Branded as Trouble?

Unlike the other books in this series, Branded as Trouble moves too slowly and lacks a good storyline. I had high hopes for the two characters, Colt and India considering how wild they both were in the other books but sadly their story is severely lacking. Not sure I will finish it, I am halfway thru now but bored to tears.

Did Rebecca Estrella do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

She does a better job in the others in the series
