Very good plot, but the characters repeated themselves over and over which became annoying. If you can ignore that, the story itself was interesting and action packed.

Good story line

Gigi seriously does the whole female race justice with the way she writes her female characters. Her MFCs are so tough and sarcastic and witty. I absolutely love Rosalind. And Cesare is just the right amount of unhinged alpha male yet protective and supportive. He can make the most twisted effed up things he does to Rosa seem somehow sexy and sensual. Or is it just me?

Anyways, I thought the Voice actors both did a great job. The voices and performance felt really genuine and they matched the characters perfectly. IMO

🖤When I saw this book had a 2 page long trigger warning list, I was like, "Sign me up!!"
If there is one thing I've come to learn about Gigi, it's that she knows how to write bada** Fmc's!! If you love a good unhinged enemy to lovers trope, then this is the book for you!!

This story was intense, and once I started listening to it, I couldn't stop. Both the fmc and mmc are absolutely unhinged in their own dark and twisted ways, and that makes them absolutely perfect for one another. The plot was great, the🌶 was 🥵, and the way the characters developed was amazing. I'm excited to read more of Gigi's books🖤
