About this listen

Breck wants him more than any championship title, but to win him, he’s got to sink the greatest basket of his life.

With college behind him and the NBA in sight, draft shoo-in Breck Harland should be riding cloud nine with visions of grandeur and glory.

Should be. He’s striven for this his entire life.

But as of late, one all-consuming obstacle has planted itself firmly in the path of his dreams.

The obstacle: Kai Nakado. Martial arts Grandmaster and Breck’s dream-Dom obsession. The wonders he’s shown Breck behind the privacy of closed doors, the feelings he’s elicited inside Breck’s elusive heart, have introduced a whole other side to life that Breck never knew existed.

What starts out as raw, fiery attraction turns to a soul-deep connection—and King Breck of the Court couldn’t be less prepared. No longer does he merely want Kai. Now he needs him, on a level that shakes his foundation.

But a future with Kai isn’t possible, because Kai refuses to hide with Breck in his closet of fear.

And going public would all but destroy Breck’s hard-won chances of getting signed. He’s worked too hard, has too much at stake. And now his warring emotions have him mentally spiraling.

As Kai teeters on the precipice of cutting his losses, torn by wanting to support Breck but unwilling to tolerate his manic, reckless behavior, Breck is forced to decide which means more: his high-profile basketball career, or a life with Kai—the one and only person on the planet who's managed to claim his heart.

Experience this breathtaking conclusion to the Courtside King Duology, packed with heartfelt struggles and smoldering passion, inside and out of the sheets.

Warning: Contains gloriously graphic scenes of guy-on-guy lovin'.

Oh goodness

This whole series was just an amazing love story. The struggles and the triumphs. Kora did justice by Kai and Breck. Michael Dean did an amazing job with all the characters.

Amazing transformative love story!

I adore these characters! So great the way Kai inspires Breck to grow up and become a better person worthy of his love. Truly powerful, deep characters! The sex is of course very hot and exotic and wild. Original story all the way around.

Adding to faves

Both books are excellent but the last three chapters are the ultimate HEA. I listen to them over and over.

Instant and Gorgeous Connection

I wasn't looking for a love story when I started Upending Tad and I ended up with three great ones. I always knew I would be biased for this story in particular. I loved people with aspirations and needs that clash, but I also love instant connections. And Breck and Kai had these in spades.

The characters are also very well fleshed out for no reason. Like, god, I got Breck and I got Kai, and I get everyone else. It really pulled me in.

Of course, what got me started was the thrilling sex and, c'mon, you know the drill by now. Good stuff.

The narrator finally, finally grew on me. Might be because I was super biased for this storyline but I like to think that I'm finally hearing what everyone else is hearing. It was great all around!

Satisfying Conclusion to Kai and Breck's Story

I enjoyed this duology a lot. Kai and Breck had amazing chemistry, this second part of their love story was full of feelings, hot and steamy moments as well as conflicts and character developments. Narrator did a good job telling this story. Overall this was a perfect listening experience.

LOVED

To say I couldn’t get enough of this book would be an understatement.

It definitely felt like pulling the strings of all of Breck’s problems and dealing with them. And my gods, the shibari. I’m obsessed. I’m also just obsessed with Kai. I adore him. And I love how his heritage is a part of him, just making him even more beautiful.

Gah. I already miss them. And I need to know about Ned and his lady friend. I have a theory.

And of course, now I also miss Tad and Scott again.

OH HECK YEAH‼️

I waited forever for this story to be completed and then become audio just so I could have this experience! Breck and Kai's story was well worth the wait. Kora Knight did a fantastic job. Ive eye read her books before and they are just as great, however, Michael Dean is the sole reason I waited for the audio version. He brings the characters to life on a whole nother level and isn't afraid of pouring the proper intensity and/or emotion into the scene. Between Koras words and Michael Deans powerful narration i felt fully immersed from the beginning. OH ‼️ and the 🥵 between these two is WHOA🌶🌶🌶🌶
