Publisher's summary

The men of Twisted Steel are great with their hands.

And they're not afraid to get dirty.

Mick Roberts, the newest partner at Twisted Steel's custom hot rod and motorcycle shop, looks like a man with everything. But secretly he still craves the connection he lost when his best friend, Adam, and the love of his life, Jessilynn, walked out. Then he wasn't ready for the pleasure they promised. Now things have changed.

Rich, powerful, and insatiable, Adam Gulati is used to getting what he wants. And there's nothing he wants more than Mick and Jessi. He hasn't seen either in over a year, but the second he sets eyes on them again his memories - and his desires - can't be denied.

After trying to live without them, Jessi Franklin realized no one else can satisfy her like Adam and Mick. The three of them need one another - in more ways than one. It's time to stop pretending and submit to the hunger they all share. But once they go down this road, there's no turning back. As deeply devoted as they are, no one knows what great bliss their forbidden fantasy will find - or the price they may pay....

Great series

I really loved this series. The characters, the story, the dialogue, the heat, the narration. All of it. I'm sure I'll need to read it again. And again. Thank you. CS

5 Coming Back

Who doesn’t love a great second chance story? I totally do because the characters are more mindful of each other. I love that. I think that is one of the biggest reason second chance love stories are my favorite.

Jessi, Adam, and Mick

These three have history and it was nice to see that. I enjoyed how they came together and even though three in a relationship isn't normal they make it work. Because for them it is THEIR normal. They have a hard time with Adam and Mick’s family accepting them but they don’t need them to accept them. Is it hard of course but they love each other and that is what matters.

They are all very different and need each other for different things and that's I think is why they work so well.
Also, can I say this about the sex...HOLY HOT!
Woohoo to Jessi for putting out her hard limits and they totally don't try and make her try things she clearly doesn't want to. DANG RIGHTS!!

I LOVED the narration, I wished more of LD’s books were narrated by Sasha Dunbrooke.

I want more more more of this series! Heck, I just want more Lauren Dane books! <3

A MÉNAGE & A 4 YR TIMEOUT LED TO A VERY INTENSE REUNION

It was the Grand Opening of Twisted Steele but for two of the guests they were there for only one thing..... Mick. He'd run away from a relationship that had frightened him four years earlier and for Jessi and Adam the emptiness and loss of Mick had broken them up..... however, now each of them were at a place in their lives to rekindle the relationship but neither one knew how the others felt. Mick is the third Partner of Twisted Steel and had sent out the Invitations to his two best friends in the desperate hope that, not only would they both attend but perhaps it would lead to more. Then, as soon as each one met they took in the differences of tattoos, piercings, more attractive, more irresistible and more subtle changes too that were even more appealing and sexy than before. By the time all three had broken the ice, exchanged pleasantries and given hungry looks it was like they'd never been apart and each one desperately hoped that this time, if given a chance, it could be great.

In private they shared their pasts, sorrows, regrets, pain, forgiveness, hopes and their desires to reconnect were shared because above, and despite, everything else the love for one another was still clearly there and so nothing else mattered. There were changes, good changes and the sexual tension ran high, the easy chemistry clicked straight back into place and, with the help of a few shots, declarations of love led to soft touches, the hopes of healing and possible futures released and freed them to trust, to share and to commit again. Which gave the green light for the touches to get intimate, the kisses to get passionate and they all went to the dominant Adam's bedroom where verbal dirty intentions were erotically played out interspersed with tender words of love and longing.

This may be an erotic listen but it wasn't jammed full of it and the sex scenes were romantic declarations and passion fuelled re-connections. There was a light sub/Dom vibe which did need to be lovingly implemented a few times as an outlet to help one of them and there was M/M, M/F and M/F/M sex scenes (but Jessi was a woman that didn't want ANY form of 'back door' action). And the sex was only a small part of this listen because the focus was on the repair and rebuilding of the relationship which was tender, sweet and very romantic.

The drama, anger and angst came from two of the three Fathers who were both outraged at the sexual set-up but for very different reasons.... one was an OTT religious zealot shouting Hell and damnation and the other was a respected businessman whose fears were how this set-up was going to affect him and what people thought. And their reactions of bitterness and hatred took some sinister turns with a few verbally abusive arguments too. Which led to a bit of instability between Jessi, Mick and Adam because the time would come when they all had to choose.

A beautiful and romantically portrayed three-way erotic love story, the characterization of Jessi, Mick and Adam's personalities was brilliant and you felt you knew them and what made them tick. Sasha Dunbrooke's narration was unbelievable as she did many female and male character's voices and each and every one of them was clearly distinguishable from the other and the passion and emotion she put into the dialogue was just awesome. She took a good book and made it into a great listen.... thank you Sasha you made it a pleasure to listen to this book. Triple POV's and could be a stand-alone listen.

Worth a credit? I love Lauren Dane's books.... so the answer is easy - YES very creditworthy.

Beautiful Story

This book is so emotionally charged and wonderfully sweet and loving. I thoroughly enjoyed Mick, Jessy, and Adam’s story. Really hated Mick and Adam’s fathers but Jessy’s family and the Twisted Steel family are awesome. Sasha Dunbrooke did a superb job conveying the emotion of this story. I highly recommend this book in both audio and written.

Not on of my favorites

I LIKED the characters in this book and the entire series. I am a hopeless romantic at heart so it was hard for me to wrap my head around a LOVE threesome. I know threesomes happen and that was hot..but that all 3 LOVED each other was weird for me..

Draining…

Twisted Steel is more than just a garage, it is a way of life. These guys are bareknuckle fighters, racers of bikes, cars or anything else with a motor and wheels. They know what they want, or think they do, and go after it!

Mick Roberts is like a brother to Duke Bradshaw and Asa Barrons – having saved their lives while on a military deployment in the Middle East. Now he is back and earned his way to become an equal partner at Twisted Steel.

Mick leads an unconventional lifestyle with romantic partners Jessi and Adam. This is my least favorite in the series. The 3 main characters had so much to talk about, so many issues that it felt like a constant therapy session. I was exhausted by the end.

If this were a standalone book, I'm not sure that I would recommend it. However, as part of the trilogy I felt that I needed to listen.

Note: mature themes, strong language and a bit of violence

I really enjoy Lauren Dane's books – the contemporary ones, and can't comment on the paranormal – and Sasha Dunbrooke's performance is spot on.
