In Excessive, Hunter is the toughest man in Mesquite, Texas. His great skill in handling guns plus his impeccable charm made everyone regard him with a high level of respect. Despite having it all, he is a single father who struggled to raise his child alone.
Everything seemed rough until he met Kylie. She's sweet and drop-dead gorgeous.
When a crisis arises, Kylie needed to use a gun. The only person who can help her out is Hunter.
In Executive, Jess Holland is an Aussie nanny who is looking for a new job and Noah Stone is a wealthy widower who needs to find someone to care for his young daughter. When they’ve found what they need in each other, they get more than they expect.

To start off with, the first book is called Excessive. I honestly give it 2 stars.
Heres the thing: I am not a huge fan of suspense in romance/erotica books. It honestly ruins the plot for me, and throws me off when I am trying to enjoy a good romance development going on. And here, it did make me enjoy the story less.
Kylie was so naive at times, it was almost ridiculous. Like that creepy guy should have been dealt with much sooner than what actually happened. Hunter, seemed to be mostly okay, except for a hospital scene with his son.
There were also some stereotypes thrown in there, which I could have dealt without as well.
I think mentioning that hey, this book could classify as romance/erotic suspense would help people choose to or in my case choose not to read this.
The second book is called Executive.
I was really enjoying this book until ch 27, where misunderstandings started occurring between Jess and Noah, and then things kept moving so quickly between.
Noah deciding to retire and move his entire life to Australia with his daughter Gina, within a short time frame after Jess left, was quite ridiculous. It honestly kind of ruined the parts of the story I already did enjoy.
This story receives 3 stars, because I liked it up until the misunderstandings started occurring.
Overall, the total combined score for both books comes out to be about two and a half stars, but I’ll round it up to 3 stars because half stars are not an option.
Excessive would have been better without the suspense moments, and Executive, without the whole I-will-change-and-move-my-entire-life-for-a-girl scenario.
