Succubus, Vampire and Werewolf, oh my!

This second book is a bit disjointed as it tries to combine every imaginable paranormal creature and event (haunting and exorcism etc.). However, to give breaks between scenes, we have erotic episodes to take our minds off the plot(s). The writing is just OK but the narration is good.

Even shorter than the first - no real improvements

As with the first book the story fails to fully grab us. The repetitions are still a common event and the switch in the point of view probably doesn't help matters.
The fact that the second book is even shorter that the first is not good for the progression of the world build.
Still, it's nice to listen and the narration is the same in both books in the serie.
I haven't read anything else from this author but based on this short serie, I don't think I'm missing out.

Romantic

I received this book for free at my request but the opinion is of my own. Chantel has finally found her real family and learns that she is immortal. As she settles into the new family she learns family secrets one of a curse that she is bound to break and a family that needs rescue. Will she claim her destiny or turn it down?

Great love story with passion

I loved the first book in this series and this book did not disappoint. Chantelle is looking for love. She has no idea it's already predestined for her, with a man named Zachariah. More family secrets are revealed and Chanetelle has to decide what she wants out of the life that she has been thrown into. If you thought the secrets were big in book one, wait until you read this book. I'm not spoiling anything. I will say that if you are a fan of this author and her erotic paranormal stories you will be pleased. There is also a sweet love story in the midst. I totally found myself swooning for Zachariah. Chantelle was already a favorite character for me. I love how no matter what life throws at her, as she hasn't had it easy, she is a fighter and a survivor. Get ready to see her fight in this story. There is evil near determined to ruin her set happiness. This story feels like it paves the way for many stories in the future to come.

Great narration, badly written

Five stars for narration, what can I say, I like almost all stories read by this narrator in this genre.

The story however is badly written, badly structured and overall badly thought out. There's a lot of exposition, plot holes, time gaps etc. The characters are flat and often think and behave childishly, even though they're supposed to be adults. In short it reads as if a teenage girl has written down one of her dreamy girl fantasy stories. Which is a fine hobby for her, no doubt, but I don't see why that should interest or engage me as an adult reader. Sorry.

This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this review voluntarily.

disappointed

The first book was descent to listen to but this one was just lacking all around. The story is underdeveloped & very lackluster. Audio isn't as well done as the first either.
