Awesome Storyline!

This romance was not your typical storyline, tropes, and the unique imagination of the author made this novel a blast to read. The narrators did a great job. I'm glad there are more books to this series! Can't wait to listen/read what's to come with the authors unique storyline. I think they should make a MOVIE based on these novels!!!! Great Read!

Great book!

This book was so good; the pros and cons on both sides were well highlighted. Book offered me ch drama and corruption on both sides. Elin has quite the imagination. Storyline was unique and interesting. Narrators did an excellent job with characters. On to the next book in series!

I saved this book for last in the series.

I saved this book for last in the series. I’m glad I did! It was my favorite. I was concerned it might not have the happy ending I wanted.

Pretty good.

I wasn’t sure if i would like this or not. It looked interesting but sometimes “future” books can be hit or miss.

I liked the spin on this book that its almost all women ruling one world and almost all men ruling the other. Both had interesting ways to do stuff and both had big down falls as well.

I really liked the characters and how the main characters change and develop as the book goes on. My only complaint was at the last little bit of the book Titus was kinda whiny and for my taste a bit too sappy for being a BIG STRONG man he was through the whole book. But that was the only big complaint.

Narrators did a great job. I am also excited that the first 6 books of this series is free on audiobooks right now so that is an excellent plus. This is a long series and i am pretty darn happy to not have to think about what to read next for a bit. I think I will enjoy this series.

🌶️ There is some nice spice, not crazy over the top but nice.

Off to the next book 📖 😃

It's a great story and start to series.

Definitely addictive. The whole series was great and I'm sad to let it go now that it's over. I appreciate it being free and wonder why all the best series I find always are. I 100% recommend all the books in this series. The author has done a great job making everyone relatable and each book enjoyable.

Sweet Romance. Does Not Have to Listened to First. Arguably a Standalone.

I read/listened to this book last out of several consecutive books within this series. It was listed as Book 0.5 of the series and did not have a summary of the storyline, so I was skeptical. I was not disappointed by going back to Book 0.5 after listening to a handful of the Books by any means. This series overall is a good listen. Some books I preferred more than others, naturally. Nevertheless, "Forbidden Letters" is actually based off an in-story novel that is mentioned throughout the series starting in Book 1. It tells a tale of a man and a woman on two different sides of the wall (country divide) that fall in love. This book eventually becomes banned by the governing council because it inspired romantic ideas and perceived harmful activities (i.e. wanting relationships with Northman, boarder jumping, etc). Book 0.5 Forbidden Letters tells the tale of how that novel came to be written. Overall, charming love story.

Perfect!

Another sweet, perfect story by Elin Peer. I can’t believe how long it took me to find this author. I really enjoyed this book. And the characters are written with intricate detail, including the futuristic world. The narrators did a great job of vocalizing the characters. I would call it awesome acting. I’m heading to book 2 in this series. Happy listening everyone.
