I thought the Calder brothers was her greatest story line, but this was fabulous. I loved the hero and his dominance and obvious ability to also love.

The story is fantastic and the choice of narrators for this story is Perfect as they held me captive from the first word to the last word. I am so glad I became a member of Audible Escape it really improves on a good story and MJ Fields doesn't disappoint with this one. Now I will get book 2 of Steel Country and settle in for another good story.

Gage really packs a mean alpha punch. Loved this story. It gives you all the feels and emotional connection to real life. Phoenix is a firecracker. They both push each other's buttons. They make for one hot demanding explosive get what they want couple. Could not wait to see where the story would go. A must read.

I don't know how she does it - MJ Fields just knows how to write men in a way that just makes me fall for them time after time. First it was the Caldwell Brothers and their friends, the Men of Steel, Trae of the Seattle Stallions, and now Gage Falcon. He uttered words that I really should've found repulsive and cringe-worthy, but instead I found myself having a decidedly different reaction to them. I love a romance between two damaged people and MJ Fields delivers that beautifully. From the very first chapter and the very first encounter between Gage and Phoenix I was sucked in to the story and really didn't want it to end. She just knows how to write women that I can relate to - women that struggle with what life throws at them, yet who refuse to give up - and gorgeous, dirty-talking alpha men that fall hard and completely. She also handles family drama with such skill. It's just a joy and a pleasure reading her words.

As obsessed as I am with the Caldwell's (I've read all 3 of the brothers' books SEVERAL times), I think I might love the Falcon brothers even more - I can't wait to meet the other two! I give this book 4.75 out of 5 stars and MJ Fields has solidified her place as a "must read" author for me.

I’m so in love with this storyline!! Anything with Narrator John Lane is going to make a great book just that much better, if possible!!

I absolutely loved the way Phoenix and Gage met! Priceless, funny and hot!
This storyline is sooo well written! The plot, the characters and the attention to details! As well as the narrative were so very well written.

Phoenix, she is a very beautiful and independent, strong young lady. She has trust issues. Gage, is a gorgeous player and he knows it!
His past is pretty messed up, and he has chosen to work hard and play just as hard.
I really, really enjoyed, loved this storyline! It’s intense and romantic, it’s drama and emotional! I went through so many feelings listening to this well narrated story!
I adore Madge, Falcon Landings senior resident. Also, an amazing mother figure to Gage and his two brothers.
Phoenix is the perfect mate for divorced Gage, and his adorable son! Omg 😱 I just loved everything about this storyline. This is a must listen!

This is a “hot damn” romance with a rich man falling for a college student. There’s some heartfelt junk in there too that makes it a good listen. The narrator are good... too a point. John Lane is really good. Sam Prescott is good too, but every sentence she reads sounds sexy and it gets slightly annoying. The HEA is cute. This is a standalone book but it is 1/3 in a series and it’s a spin-off of the Steele series.

Speaking of the series, I don’t know when I will read it. One of the female villains from this book is the love interest in the next book and I’m not ready to forgive her lol.

I didn't like the beginning, but it got better, and I enjoyed this book. I liked the main characters, and there were so many side characters, and I got a bit lost when they'd show up. But, all in all, I really liked the book, and would recommend it.
Also, narrators were amazing!

this was a very cute story. I had no idea. It was prequel-type to the other series. I still need to read another set of series on the Steel clam. But I am definitely enjoying it.
