I must say, overall the book is not bad. The story did take you on a magical journey, but I feel there is a few things I should mention. Christian the narrator gave the op mc a kind of Geralt from The Witcher kind of feel but not so well with the female voices. Also at least for the audio book, I felt it was read too quickly and at times hard to follow. I will say though that I will finish the series as it still is worth a read/listen.

The story isn't awful, it's actually pretty good. But... Too much description. The author spent too much time describing every little thing to the point of being annoying, especially during fight scenes. I don't really need to know how this feels, or that feels, I just want the MC to battle and know what's going on. I didn't even follow half of the story because I got tired of all the useless info that had very little to do with the actual story. The only decent writing is in the erotic scenes. I assume the author is a romance novelist, not an action novelist. So I give it 3/5 stars, it could be a really great story if proofread before publishing.

I normally give just brief reviews for most of the stories I listen to. I’m reviewing this one a little more in depth, because although I really like the genre and I like where the stories had it, but it felt to me that there were a few too many gaps in the story for to be really cohesive. Also, I’m not a fan of single narration for male and female parts. Some narrators can pull off both genders, but I feel the narrator in the story didn’t quite pull it off well. It’s not a bad story, and the narrator does a decent job, but I’m just too used to duel narrators. On the plus side, the story did grab my attention almost from the start, so if you like this type of genre, You should like this book as well!

I only have 2 issues. Issue 1, the chapters are far to short. average chapter length in this genre is 35 mins. Issue 2, The women's voices should be done by a woman. No joke.

This story was fun and intrresting. There were times that it was confusing, like the battle sequences but over all I loved it and look forward to hearing what happens next. will the elvin council except him and his group? will they offer them a home in exchange for the tea recipe? Will he collect more women while in the Heart Tree? Will he defeat the dark power looking to destroy the world? To many questions. I'm hooked and hope to see book 2 some time here in 2020.

I think whoever work on the audible heading, should listen to it again. There are some clear brakes and restarts in the Audible performance.

The only true problem that I have with any of this is just a personal I guess you would call it a grip, if you're going to have a lot of intimate scenes between Women I personally think that in audio form I know it's more expensive but in audio, I think there should be a male reader for the male and a female reader the female that's the only personal grip that I have about the story otherwise great Series, I think it is great that he's bringing his Adventures to Audible can't wait for more of his complete series to come out

This book is great. Action, adventure, magic, aliens, sexy time. It's a fun faced paced read. Don't look to deeply to find perfect mechanics in the magic system. This is a book you just roll with and enjoy.

Excellent new series

The story itself is great. I enjoyed the world, characters and progression.
This audiobook would be far, far better with a dual narration. Christian does a good job narrating all but the women’s voices.
Please, please make the next book a dual narration.
Listen to any of Eric Vall’s or Logan Jacobs books and you’ll see what I mean. They’re some of the best productions I’ve heard.
