About this listen

From USA Today and Wall Street Journal bestselling author Becca Steele comes a new standalone M/M college romance.

My life was perfect. A dream degree course, amazing friends, a different guy every weekend.

Until him.

One night.

No names.

We thought we’d never see each other again.

But the man that blew my mind turns out to be Dr. Wilder, a lecturer at my university with a reputation of being cold and unapproachable.

Completely wrong for me.

He’s a teacher. I’m a student.

Did I mention my housemates loathe him?

It was only supposed to be a one-night stand…until it wasn’t.

Now, we can’t seem to stay away from each other.

He’s turning my world upside down.

We’re in too deep.

There’s only one way this can end, and neither of us are prepared to face the consequences…

Ignited is an M/M new adult student/professor college romance, and is the third book in the LSU series. Each book can be enjoyed as a standalone.

Another fantastic book in this series!

I absolutely love the LSU world Becca Steele has created, and the duet narration of James Joseph and Will Watt is always a win. Grumpy/Sunshine, Age Gap, HEA 😍

It's oh so wrong but oh so right...

JJ is the life of the party. Always upbeat, colorful, and going after what he wants. He dances as part of his major at LSU, as his job at the club, on the stage, and in the studio. And he has the most adorable relationship with his grandmother. On the flip side Killian would rather most people leave him alone while he eats lunch at his desk preparing to give his next lecture. His friend circle is small and he hates feeling obligated to attend social events in the attempt to work his way up the ladder to be head of the LSU business department.

But what they say about opposites attracting must be true. It's only after their one night together that they discover their student/professor connection to LSU. Even though they're both in different departments some might see that as a bit taboo. So even though they feel there can't possibly be a future for them, they also can't keep away.

In this third full book in the LSU world we get to see JJ set his sights on the one man he can't stop thinking about. Their story got me all up in my feels. Throughout their situationship they each have to come to grips with what is most important in their lives and in their futures. I absolutely loved these two. And they might just be my favorite duo of the series. But don't you dare actually make me choose!

AUDIOBOOK UPDATE: OMG! The narrators for the audiobook version did such an amazing job. Absolutely fantastic! Their sexy British voices. The variety and personality they brought to not only the main characters but the side characters too. The emotion and passion they brought to the story took it to a whole new level. I loved the story when I read it the first time around but now after listening to this version, I love it even more.

Loved this book and audio!!

This is the audio and book review of Ignited by Becca Steele. Becca Steele is my favorite M/M author of all time, and Ignited was freaking amazing. The storyline of this book was original, page-turning, and spicy. The characters were complex and had an intense and undeniable chemistry. It was my first time hearing James Joseph and Will Watt narrate, and holy cow, they were perfect. Their voices were mesmerizing, and I couldn't stop listening. I loved the characters and the way the narrators brought them to life. This book was filled with drama and angst and kept me listening and turning the pages until I reached the end. This book was heartbreaking and heartwarming. The narrators were amazing and brought feeling and life to this book. I felt my heart squeeze with love for these characters from their words.

Killian seemed straight-laced and wore a straight jacket. I loved his voice, he sounded uptight and a little snobby. JJ was a free spirit and determined to do what he wanted. He sounded young and free, and a ball of sunshine. They were intense, scorching hot, and forbidden. I loved the push and pull between the characters, and the narrators were a chef's kiss at bringing the book to a new level of fan-freaking-tastic and captivating.

Fantastic - 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Completely loved this book! Read it first and anxiously waited for the audio to be released. I was not disappointed at all. This narration duo is my absolute favorite. And in duet - doesn’t get any better than this. Becca Steele’s characters always are addictive. I only hope there is more to come from the LSU crew.

Highest praise for the narration - this is the only duo I listen to at 1.0 speed. All others are at least 1.2. Have to savor every minute of these narrators. ❤️

Kilian and JJ

𝙏𝙧𝙮𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙞𝙚 𝙙𝙤𝙬𝙣 𝙨𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙅𝙅 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙩𝙧𝙮𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤 𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙘𝙝 𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙣 𝙖 𝙗𝙤𝙩𝙩𝙡𝙚. 𝙃𝙚 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙩𝙤𝙤 𝙗𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙤𝙤 𝙗𝙚𝙖𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙛𝙪𝙡 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙢𝙚.

Iɢɴɪᴛᴇᴅ is the third book in the LSU series by Becca Steele which is Kilian and JJ's journey.

Kilian and JJ have a one-night stand that was never meant to go anywhere beyond the one night until Kilian and JJ realize they are both at LSU and their connection can not be denied.

Kilian and JJ have an undeniable connection that even after three months of living their own lives, they reconnect as if there has been no time apart, even though they attempt to fight what they have, there is no denying Kilian and JJ are meant to be together.

I love how protective JJ's group of friends are but also how welcoming they are of Kilian. I also love that Sid was able to provide his emotional support.

James Joseph and Will Watt are amazing again and have become two of my favourite Becca Steele narrators. Stella Hunter was a nice addition to this book.

Get ready for ... college, professor • student, age gap, forbidden vibes, and be mindful that there is content that may be uncomfortable for some readers, and check the trigger warnings before enjoying it.

His Sunshine Boy

Book 3 of the LSU series - Ignited by Becca Steele is a thrilling and passionate romance that delves into the complexities of forbidden love, perfectly narrated by the talented voices of Will Watt and James Joseph and they are on fire . I have been a fan of this duo for a while and they never fail. I felt as though both narrators put their soul into this audio .

Killian Wilder, brought to life by Will Watt, is a lecturer at LSU with a stern reputation. Will Watt's voice perfectly captures the icy, yet captivating persona of Dr. Wilder. His portrayal adds depth to Killian’s character, showcasing his internal struggles and the unexpected warmth he finds in JJ .

Joseph "JJ" James Everett, narrated by James Joseph, is our spirited and adventurous protagonist. James Joseph's narration is vibrant and engaging, making JJ’s journey through love and self-discovery feel authentic and relatable. The contrast between the two narrators enhances the tension and chemistry between the characters, making their connection even more electric.

Ignited is an emotional rollercoaster that kept me hooked from start to finish. Becca Steele masterfully crafts a story filled with intense chemistry, forbidden romance, and the challenges of navigating a relationship that defies societal norms. The characters are well-developed, and their growth throughout the story is both compelling and believable.
The narrations by Will Watt and James Joseph add an extra layer of depth to the story, made me feel every emotion and conflict faced by JJ and Killian. Their performances make the audiobook a must-listen for fans of steamy, forbidden romance.
