I fell for Slade almost automatically. He's down and out, and that makes him bratty and so loveable I could squee!!!! I liked that both boi and daddy had to learn what worked for them; their roles and priorities and the dynamics of their relationship. Change and growth is a good thing. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a good job with voices and expressions.

It's the same author as Club 83, a series I am not impressed with. This book is much the same, slow and boring. And although Christopher Rain isn't outright bad, he insists on laughing. Every time one of the dominant characters 'laughs', he sounds like an exhausted maul Santa on December 23. It's so annoying I had to cut the book mid laugh.

This book fell short in so many ways. The narration was odd with mispronounced words and odd voices for many characters. Also, it is set around the owner of a kink club but it seemed to shy away from showing the lifestyle. It was an 8 plus hour journey with no destination. I really wanted to like it so I stuck it out till the end but I won't be continuing the series.

This is supposed to be a kinky book but there is no kink in it except boys calling their partners "daddy" and liking being told what to do. There was almost no exploration into kinks, no good sex scenes that at least made for interesting content, just a ton of talking, talking, talking.
And the narrator, as always, over enunciates and makes everyone sound robotic except maybe Jordan and Slade. Now that I think about Slade, they touched on his background but didn't actually bring any part of it into the story. It's just narrated about. In fact, this author does that for every character. This was seriously hours of nothing but talking and teasing.
Also, what the heck was with William's voice? What was that? Is he 90?
