Publisher's summary

736 = the number of notches on my belt.

736 = the notch I can't get out of my head.

736 = the notch who leaves me wanting more than I'm prepared to give back.

Who is 736?

Blair Parker.

She is unlike any women I have met before. She's powerful. She's feisty. She's headstrong. And above all, she's the one I had to break my one and only rule to chase down.

But there's just one problem. She wants nothing to do with me before and after our night together.

If that's not enough, life then throws me another curve ball.

I'm offered an opportunity of a lifetime. It's an opportunity to achieve the success I've worked so hard for. It's an opportunity anyone in my position would kill for. It's an opportunity that I'd be crazy to say no to.

But there is a catch. There is a price to pay. There is something I need to do in exchange for this opportunity.

To be the youngest partner at the most prestigious international law firm, I need to make Blair the casualty of my success.

Contemporary Romance with **Mature Content** Recommended for 17+ due to mature language and adult situations.

HOT

Would you listen to The Chase, Volume 2 again? Why?

O yes because the story line was absolute amazing and it felt like I was there.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Chase, Volume 2?

The most memorial moment was the following: Thank you for the coffee offer, but I must decline. I’m actually in a caffeine detox, so I will not be drinking anymore coffee. Enjoy that coffee without me.

What does Lynn Barrington and James Cavenaugh bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

They brought the book a new meaning I got to actually her two people instead of listening to myself an dot was absoluty amazing

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

To have coffee again

Love it

Wow, after listening to volume 1 of The Chase Dean annoyed me with his cockiness but listening to volume 2, I saw the other side of Dean after being heart broken from the past but I believe his heart will soften for Blair. Will Dean and Blair feelings continue to grow for each other. My emotions were all over the place through the book. Seriously did that ending just happen, my goodness. Oh Jessica, I'm sitting on the edge of the cliff again. Loved it and can't wait to continue on to volume 3.

Why break one book into three?

The only reason is a shameless quest for more money. I’ve boycotted authors for this ploy. And this author just made this list. The book isn’t so good that I feel like I’ll be missing much. Out!!!

It's definitely a one sitting book. You are sucked in and need to find out what happens next.

Love Dean Chase

The Chase 2 pulled at my heart strings. In this volume, we get a look into Deans past and see what made him the man he is. Dean's high school sweetheart, Katherine, really did a number on him. You will hurt for Dean. Dean and Blair's chemistry is as intense as ever. He is warring with himself over Trent's proposal to ruin Blair. You will not believe the bombshell that was discovered at the end of this book. Jessica Wood is a genius! I can't wait to see how it's all going to play out!

OMG!!!! I NEED MORE!

In this second installment we get to find out why Dean doesn't commit to a relationship. We also get to learn more about Blair and learn to love her character even more. We see the struggle both Dean and Blair with debating on whether they should more forward with their feelings. And the ending leaves you wanting more!
