Didn't know what to expect because a lot of plots can seem so familiar. This one has unexpected twist and great character development. I loved both of the MCs and their word inter-play. If that's not enough, it's also hot, hot, hot!

I enjoyed the story. This was a new narrator to me and I enjoyed her narration, I will continue to look for books that she narrates.

I couldn't put this one down. I was thoroughly engaged from beginning to end and almost started reading it all over again after I'd finished.

OK, first let me say that there are so many things going for this book. Billionaire propositions a down-on-her-luck girl in need of a job... I love the premise! The writing is great. Etta is swoon worthy - mysterious, confident, intelligent, and sexy. The sex scenes are 🔥🌶💥. It's definitely worth the read. The only problem for me was that I had a hard time liking Jamie, but I'll let that just be my personal opinion.

Amazing story performed by an equally amazing narrator. Kept me on the edge of my seat.

A must listen

The main character is pretty awful. The chemistry is non-existent and the writing leaves much to be desired. I couldn’t finish the story. What a waste. The narrator did well with what she had though.

Not Great

I’m usually a huge fan of the authors. I mean HUGE but this book was incredibly traumatizing. This is the definition of a completely dysfunctional and traumatizing relationship. I don’t for one moment believe these two love each other or in any way could have a healthy relationship. SPOILER: They also NEVER address the fact that Etta KNEW about Monique and did nothing for BUSINESS. I’m so disappointed because I loved the Submissive but I can’t look at that book the same after this.

I adore Hildred Billings but as a person who practices BDSM the books dynamics were absolutely lacking. Hired or not the submissive wasn’t educated enough to participate in those dynamics. The rest of the story was entertaining but I couldn’t get over that aspect. The very casual use of the collar happens but this was just off. The narration was great!

I wanted to love it…
