Publisher's summary

Welcome to No Angels - the hottest new series of erotic novels based around those people who have a hidden, darker, more sexual side than anyone who knows them would ever believe. The women in No Angels are just that - and our stories will show them embrace that side of themselves.

The School Reunion...: My wife and I have been married for 10 years, and I know everything there is to know about her. So when she gets an invite to a school reunion from an old school friend, I have no reason at all to stop her going. Do I? Imagine my surprise when I find out that she has a dark past that she's kept hidden from me all these years, and as it unfolds, this new knowledge takes me on a journey to places I never thought I'd go...

No Angels novels include explicit sexual scenes with cheating, themes of cuckoldry, liberated and strong women, and the powerful partners and friends who love them.

Well presented story draws one in emotionally

While the reunion trope is a common one. This story, from the cuckold's viewpoint, is delivered in such a way that one feels the anxiety, turmoil, and stress felt by a husband in finding his love of a wife needs more and harder sexual stimulation than he can provide. She finds fulfilment with her ex boyfriend and his pals. How does the couple reconcile this? Is acceptance possible? Will trust be broken? Can the relationship survive the revealed truth from the past and its resulting resulting changes?

Those were the days.

I was gifted an Audible version of the book through Story Origin. This is my voluntary review.
I mostly enjoyed this very steamy, very sexy book. It did make me cringe quite a few times. It also made me chuckle alot, even tho I don't think that was the author's intention. A cuckhold. His insatiable wife. All started at her 10 year class reunion. Ah, those were the days!
The narrator. He didn't vary his voices for different characters. Once I was use to his voice, I enjoyed his reading of the book very much.

Baskerville Book Reviews

This is a DNF from me. Nothing about this was enjoyable or entertaining. Husband and wife go to a reunion, a stranger starts telling him about all the dirty stuff his wife used to do. Instead of trusting his wife, he automatically starts to believe the strangers. It says a lot that he just automatically loses all faith in his wife. He stumbles across his wife cheating on him at the reunion, which says a lot about her.

The novel then proceeds to spend the next several chapters with the couple lying to each other, going behind each other’s backs, and playing games. His wife spends their entire relationship lying to him, cheats on him the first chance he gets, plans a follow-up in their home, and then lies to his face about it.

There’s a huge difference between women who are “no angel” and this. Listening to this book is like being held prisoner as the male character spends the entire time moping about his cheating wife and trying to figure out how he feels about it. There’s little “romance” of any kind. The wife is always talking about how much she adores her husband, but never really shows it. It feels like being stuck in a room with 2 people who can’t decide if they want a divorce or counseling.

I really couldn’t get behind the narrator. I couldn’t understand him at high speeds and listening to this story at normal speed is unbearable. He reads every line in the same tone of voice and never seems to take natural pauses between lines. It’s emotionless and sounds like he’s in a hurry. Maybe he couldn’t stand reading it either.
