About this listen

All three books in the New York Times best-selling trilogy available for the first time in one convenient bundle

"Will you ever let me go?"

"No, Nora," he replies, and I can feel his smile in the darkness. "Never."

On the eve of her 18th birthday, Nora Leston meets Julian Esguerra, and her life changes forever. Stolen away to a private island, she finds herself at the mercy of a powerful, dangerous man whose touch makes her burn...a man whose obsession with her knows no bounds.

Her enigmatic captor is as cruel as he is beautiful, yet it's his tenderness that devastates her most. Drawn into his violent world, Nora must find a way to adapt and survive - and find light within the darkness.

I Hate, Like, Hate, Like Julian

Where does Twist Me: The Complete Trilogy rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This is a dark romance. I use the romance lightly. Julian is borderline sociopath and a true sadist. Thru the first book and half of the second book I just hate him. Then he starts to show signs of care and compassion then I remind myself what he has done without remorse.

This trilogy starts out a little slow for me but picks up quick and stays fast paced, action packed and I cringed, closed my eyes, and said no, no, no, more times than I can remember.

The second and third book has dual narration. Narration is very good and keeps you interested in the edge of your seat action and the cringing sadism of Julian.

Three books (26 hours of entertainment) for the price of 1 Credit. Hell yah it's worth the credit.

I have the spin-off Capture Me in my library to listen to next. This book is about Lucas and Yulie. In the third book Yulie betrays Julian and Lucas so Lucas has her captured and held prisoner in his personal quarter's on the compound.

This is a series I will listen to time and time again.

Awesome

Wonderful trilogy! I want more of Anna Zaires books if they are as terrific as Twist Me. I couldn't put it down. I listened to the audible straight through the trilogy and still want more.

Unrealistic

Unfortunately I am not a fan of this story line. I found the age and role of Nora’s character disturbing for such a mature theme.

Romance and action story

The beginning was a little off putting with the kidnapping theme. Almost deciding to not continue listening. However, I enjoyed the narrators and the storyline increasingly infinitely better. Enjoyed the hot sex scenes and the action plot lines. Happily ever after...

Stupid Girl

I can’t believe I wasted all those hours listening to this stupid book. I thought it would end with that stupid girl wising up and Julien letting her go because he loved her so much. But instead, he turned her into a murdering criminal.

LOT'S OF STEAMY SEX !!!!

Unfortunately the premise is illegal however the story is so good you kind of forget about it.
they're kinda going a little far-fetched single-handed taking down a terror group thing but the sex is so good that you overlooked it

Like 50 Shades without a safeword

Nora turns 18 just before she finishes high school and is kidnaped by a man she’s only ever clapped eyes on twice and exchanged a few words with once. He isolates her and takes her against her will though there’s a lot of emphasis on “the body is willing even if the mind ain’t” scenario.

I found the unwitting/unstated changes in Julien’s character to be refreshingly few if important. It’s Norah’s development into a similarly unforgiving character that surprised and pleased me the most.

I’m glad all three were sold together as one book because I’m not entirely certain I’d have gone back for book 2. I spent the first few hours waiting for Nora to face the only choice she has left to her and attempt suicide, but it never even came up. Not sure if that says more about me than the character/author but anyway.

The dual narration was good, except it threw me off several times when RS began with “Juleen” (obviously, this was his way of pronouncing Julien).

The author used a few phrases too often but her favourite word was undoubtedly “cognisant” though it wasn’t nearly so bad as some offensive authors who gasp with every paragraph.
