The book is all about being an "Alpha Male." I can understand this desire in one's dating years where it's all about lust, desire, courtship, respect, attraction, etc. What about marriage? I've heard countless times the secret of a good marriage comes down to 2 words, "YES" and "DEAR." Can one remain alpha in a long term marriage? What if your wife wants to decorate the living room in floral patterns? Do you remain alpha and tell your wife hell no? I kind of feel if your desire is to live alpha it's very hard in the context of marriage which by definition is pretty constraining to an alpha lifestyle. He doesn't really say much about marriage.

So, full disclaimer, toxic masculinity is not for me at all. I do not nor do I ever want to be the Alpha that belittles or otherwise diminishes the quality of life to the people around them.

This book was suggested by a woman & I downloaded it out of sheer curiosity.

That being said, I am so thankful to the author and to all of the impressive information in this book, I, like most grew up without a father or father figure and have been looking my whole adult life for something & not really knowing what that something is.

I’ve found a lot of it in this book. It has inspired me to self evaluate and really truly hone in on what it is I want in life. Not what’s expected of me, or what people think I should do.

This book reads like a conversation from a father to a maturing son. This is what every man or anyone who identifies as a man, or just plain anyone that wants to add value to their life should and needs to read.

I will admit, there are ideologies & opinions in this book that don’t correlate with my morals or beliefs, but as a whole, there is a gold mine of information.

So if you’re looking to better yourself, or just finding yourself, or haven’t quite grown into the person YOU want to become. Read the book. You won’t be disappointed.

I have read and listened to tons of books on personal development but never ever thought to look for something like this. I finally got fed up with the type of women I ended up with. So I started looking for direction. This book has caused me to have a major paradigm shift. I now see a huge part of my personality has been underdeveloped for most of my life and has been the cause of low quality women being attracted to me. I now have some direction of what I need to do. Now is the time to change! Get the book and see for yourself. Invest in yourself!
