Craig W. Drummond is an attorney and former Captain in the U.S. Army JAG Corps. Craig received his undergraduate and law degree from Drake University. In 2007, he was deployed to Iraq where he led the defense team for U.S. Army Specialist Jorge G. Sandoval, Jr., an elite airborne infantryman and sniper, who was being court-martialed for the charges of murder for two shootings that occurred in the most dangerous area of Iraq, "The Triangle of Death." The case of a sniper being charged with murder made international headlines with correspondents from The New York Times, The Washington Post, Los Angeles Times and the Associated Press covering the trial. Craig led the defense team at the trial which occurred on a U.S. military compound on the outskirts of Baghdad. During the trial, several elite snipers were called to testify, to include expert testimony by the most senior sniper from the U.S. Army Sniper School at Fort Benning, Georgia. Craig was awarded the Bronze Star for his service in Iraq. Craig is now an attorney in private practice in Las Vegas, Nevada where he leads the team at the Drummond Law Firm.
