Jeff Schwarting was born in Los Angeles, California, and, like every Southern Californian, grew up surfing, skateboarding, and not paying attention in school. He spent two years in Veracruz, Mexico living and working with the local people, and because he had very limited interaction with other gringos, learned Spanish to fluency. After returning from Mexico, he continued his education as a sophomore at BYU and started his first business, which he sold two years later as a Junior in college. He completed a degree in business management with an emphasis in entrepreneurship, and has continued to be actively involved in the entrepreneurship scene ever since. After graduating, Jeff created and taught the most successful entrepreneurship course at BYU for three semesters along with his good friend, Daniel Falabella, during which time the two also served as program managers for a Google-sponsored entrepreneurship program, which they lead to #1 performance out of 35 global programs. Jeff is a scientist at heart with a voracious desire to figure out how things work, and his greatest ambition is to die knowing that he did good in life. Oh and to go to space using a weather balloon.
