Her work has been supported by fellowships from the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference, Omi International Arts Center, and Indiana University, where she was the editor in chief of Indiana Review. Born and raised in Saint Louis, she now lives in Denver, where she is the music editor of the city’s alternative weekly newspaper.
