Sarah van Gelder is co-founder and editor-at-large of YES! Magazine. Her four-month road trip is the subject of her latest book, "The Revolution Where You Are: Stories From a 12,000 Mile Journey Across a New America." She writes, speaks, and is a guest on radio and television. Her topics: Cooperative economics, local foods, solving the climate challenge, alternatives to prisons, and inclusive communities. In short, her obsession is the grassroots changes that are contributing to a more just and sustainable world.
