Her range of parenting books for major publishers such as DK, cover some of the most urgent issues for modern mothers and fathers, and offering do-able research-based solutions on issues ranging from helping youngsters cope with school pressure to friendship problems. In 2019, Tanith published ‘What is My Child Thinking? Practical child psychology for modern parents' with clinical psychologist Dr Angharad Rudkin The revolutionary format offers a ground-breaking, yet easily accessible, way to understand the world from your child's point of view – at each stage of their development. It deals with a range of more than 100 of the most common scenarios from toddlers age two to primary age children. The follow-up ‘What is my Teenager Thinking?’ was published in the summer of 2020. As these books have become, go-to reference books, bringing child development and psychology in digestible ways to parents around the world, Tanith and Dr Rudkin are now working on 'What's by Tween Thinking?" for publication in 2024. In March, 2019, Tanith also published 'The Friendship Maze: How to help your child navigate their way to positive, happier friendships.' In this fearless book, Tanith brings together the latest social science on friendship to peel back the hidden mysteries of children’s social relationships. 'The Friendship Maze' addresses challenging issues like how do hierarchies form in classrooms, how to deal with bullying, why children and teens are more cliquey and more cruel than ever - and what are the best ways to help children who find it difficult to stay out of conflict or to make friends. Tanith's other parenting books include, Girls Uninterrupted, published in 2015, which is still the essential go-to book for parents who want to build stronger daughters in a challenging world. ‘Taming the Tiger Parent - How to put the Well-being of your Child First in a Competitive World’ was published by Constable/Little Brown. This was the first UK book to look at the bigger picture of what continual school testing is doing to our children and to offer help for parents on how to navigate this . It has since become a classic for parents wanting to step off the competitive merry-go-around for the well-being of their kids. It received wide spread coverage all over the world and has been called 'a book to re-orientate parenting' by author Steve Biddulph and 'well-balanced, well-argued and highly readable' by Sue Palmer, Author of Toxic Childhood.
