"Live a good life. If there are gods and they are just, then they will not care how devout you have been, but will welcome you based on the virtues you have lived by. If there are gods, but unjust, then you should not want to worship them. If there are no gods, then you will be gone, but will have lived a noble life that will live on in the memories of your loved ones." -Marcus Aurelius Tom Miles is an author, freelance writer and poet. He currently lives in Chicago with his wife and two children. He has a passion for learning and has been an avid reader for as long as he can remember. He claims to have read at least 1 book a week for the last 4 years, and believes that a real-life education can be attained through reading, an openness to learn, practical application and experiencing life. Tom started freelance writing at 16 and believes that capturing his thoughts onto paper early in his life has vastly improved his quality of life and well-being. After dropping out of college at 20, Tom decided to spend his time focusing on writing full time. He's previously written fiction novels under pen names, and he's now putting his name 'out there' in short non-fiction books in subjects he's passionate about.
