It's always a thrill when a highly anticipated book lives up to the hype, and A Legacy of Sorrows by Mallory Fox, narrated by Hannah Hedley and Lucas Webley, absolutely delivers. As one of my most anticipated releases, this audiobook plunges listeners back into Viola's dark and dangerous world, and it does not disappoint.

From the first chapter, the audiobook grabs you and refuses to let go. Fox masterfully weaves a tale that is as action-packed and intoxicating as it is intense and sexy. The tagline "Lust fuels the worst evil. Love is overrated. Killing for retribution is everything I've ever wanted..." sets the perfect tone for the journey ahead. Viola is back with her enigmatic "boys," and while some burning questions from book one are satisfyingly answered, new layers of mystery are introduced, keeping you guessing at every turn.

What truly sets A Legacy of Sorrows apart is its unpredictability. Just when I thought I had a handle on the plot, a sudden twist would completely derail my theories, sending the narrative in a direction I never could have foreseen. This constant element of surprise kept me on the absolute edge of my seat from beginning to end.

Hannah Hedley and Lucas Webley's narration is stellar, perfectly capturing the dark, cruel, and at times, callous atmosphere of the story. Their performances bring Viola's complex character and the dangerous allure of her "boys" to life, making the audio experience even more immersive. This audiobook was so good, dark and sinister.
I like how the storyline grows and makes the storyline even stronger, this book continues from where the first book ended. this book does leave off on a cliffhanger. I really enjoyed the storyline, I don’t want to give anything away but the book just got better and better as it went on. …OMG the ending!!!! The narrators were brilliant, they really brought this storyline to life! I can’t wait to listen to the next book!

This was amazing to listen to! The action scenes , the steamy scenes and the not so pretty ones were absolutely wonderful. Here I thought the first installment was amazing this one takes the cake! I love viola she is still a tough cookie and that Dante I just wish he would poof like the wind. As for the other men In her life they truly care for her and do whatever she needs. As for the ending it had me on the edge of my seat and I can’t wait to see what is up next for Viola. As for the narrators omg I love their accents and just the way they are with each character is absolutely perfect.

This was another fast paced adventure following Viola and her boys picking right up where A History of Violence left off.

Viola is itching to kill, Dante is playing a game of cat and mouse with Viola and the boys, the relationships between Viola and the boys continue to grow, and Viola’s past continues to catch up to her.

I finished this audiobook in a sitting because I couldn’t get enough. I had to know what happened next and trying to piece together the never ending puzzle Mallory Fox has created.

There is so much happening and so many factors that fit into each other and as a reader you are trying to piece it all together.

I love the duet narration especially with how many characters and how fast paced these books are. The female narrator does a great job at capturing Viola’s unhinged personality!

That twist at the end left me wanting more and to know what happens next!

Can’t wait to see what happens next!

The continuation to this dark RH story. More players are introduced. Lots of secrets being kept and revealed. Lots of names on hit lists being added and eliminated. A cat and mouse games come into play. It's hard to keep up with who is playing who. A bit of Viola's past is revealed too. I listened to the audio and the narrators did a great job. This does end in a cliffhanger. Can't wait to find out what happens next.

This series is so fun to listen to! We’ve got a baddie fmc who takes no 💩, who knows how to end you with her bare hands and her merry hands of men!

The relationships with the guys starts to develop more in this second book, and you start to feel the connections Viola is forming with them all. Baring in mind that I go into my books blind, I’m not sold on if Dante will become one of her men yet, or if he’s truly just the villain lol. But either way, I’m here for seeing him brought to his knees!! There ending has me convinced he’s going to be, so I’m definitely interested to see how that all unfolds.

I’m 100% invested in where this plot line is going and can’t wait to see what happens in the next book, considering the minor cliffy!!

The audio production for this is amazing. I love Lucas and Hannah together. Lucas is so good at making each guy unique and they each have their own voice, which I loved! Hannah’s voice is exactly what I would’ve pictured for Viola. It’s kinda sultry, and monotone, but not in a bad way! It totally fits Viola’s character.

I’m really enjoying this series and can’t wait o get into the next book! Highly recommend picking this series up if you love dark why choose romances, with a baddie fmc who knows how to use a knife or two. 😉

Narrators are still good because again love the accents except one thing but I am not petty and it may be just a me thing.

Now to the story Viola and her status as an assassin well she is slipping a little. But dont get me wrong she is still deadly and twisted because when she does take someone down she doesn't hold back. She finds out the guys are "spying" on her so to speak lol. There is another cliffhanger but we'll see how the next book goes.

A Legacy of Sorrow picks up right where A History of Violence left off. I love this book and the FMC. I'm hooked. Viola is such a badass, and I love that she does what and who she wants when she wants without caring about the consequences. It's clear at this point that she doesn't feel things the way most people do, and that's what makes her so good at her job. However, Dino, Lorcan and even Jude are starting to change the way she thinks and feels, and she's really not sure how to feel about that.

The MMCs are typical for a RH romance. The charming romantic (Dino), the inexplicably sexy control freak (Lorcan) and the mysterious and aloof broody one (Jude). Her relationships with all of them bloom further in this book. They want her to choose. She says no, and they run in circles for a while. Jude still pretends he's uninterested yet comes to her aid many times even when it's unnecessary. What started off as a transaction now has emotion, and they all are feeling more and more protective and possessive over her. The guys are slowly changing Viola, and I can't wait to see where this story will go.

Hannah Hedley won me over in this book. Her narration style really is perfect for Viola's character, and I loved watching that evolve. Lucas Webley has such a sexy voice and he does accents so well. He sounded so familiar to me, and I finally figured out why. He also did the narration for the Madison Kate series which I LOVED. Loving his narration in this series also!!

I love this book and the FMC. I'm hooked!!

This is book 2 in the Violent Agenda series. There are currently 4 books in this series. All the books must be read in order. All of the books continue into the next.

Viola is ever the strong woman and assasin/killer. Viola is collecting a harem of men who think they control absolutely everything. Viola is not one to be controlled. The one person I was worried about from the 1st book comes back to haunt Viola.

Every person in this book is trying to out maneuver the other. They're all thinking about 10 steps ahead, always. Will it be enough? Are Viola, Dino, Jude, and Lorcan's fates already sealed? This is the kind of series that I have no clue what's really going on. Maybe all will be revealed in book 4? On to book 3.
