I’ve been listening to this series since Alexandra Noir published the first one last year. I am please to say that the heat has not gone away! Her creativity and the ability to express the strange feelings that people have while doing this sort of sex-play is incredible. I’d listen to again and again if I had more free time!

I loved this. It was incredible. The writing is phenomenal and Ruby Rivers’ voice is perfect for what happens in here. “The Kindness” of strangers was definitely my favorite story. Enjoy! I did.

I didn’t think this could have gotten any better. I’ve read this book and now I get the privilege of listening to these 6 stories with a new set of ears. The narrator really did an outstanding job. She brought the word to life it was like I was listen this book for the very first time. As always Alexandra did a great job in choosing a narrator that can give life to the strong women in each of her stories.

6 very different stories, but all were equally steamy and intriguing....

Ruby Rivers' narration really brings to life Noir's solid writing. Noir does a great job is showcasing many of the different aspects of BDSM and of being a submissive; showcasing that there is a lot more to the dynamic than meets the eye.

Each story stands on it's own and is hot and steamy - however not over the top if this is your first venture into this genre.

Highly recommend this compilation if you're looking for a good into to the BDSM genre, or are just looking for a quick steamy listen.

I’ve never found myself drawn to BDSM erotica. The idea of handcuffs, whips, and ball gags during sex just didn’t do anything for me. But this group of stories came recommended to me by an erotica author whose work I really enjoy, so I took a chance. And I’m glad I did.

These five stories by Alexandra Noir show through example that BDSM is not just all about being tied up and spanked. In fact, that is only a small part of it. It’s really about power exchange.

Whether it’s to get away from the stress of having to always be the boss in charge on the job, wanting to be restrained and taken in bed, or giving up control to serve a master, each of these stories deals with the transfer of personal power to another. When a submissive gives that power to a dominant, they also give up responsibility for adhering to the sexual restrictions society places upon them. Being bound and taken, acting a slut, or risking exposure in public are all done freely in service to their dom. And these stories demonstrate that giving up control can be so, so erotic.

Maybe to those who have long enjoyed this genre of erotica I am simply stating the obvious, but it’s a new world to me. A world I’d like to explore further.

I’d highly recommend this book to anyone curious about BDSM or looking for stories that are not too extreme. Alexandra’s writing is solid, and Ruby Rivers gives one of her strongest performances that I’ve experienced.

Overall, I thought the stories were well written. I had a little trouble going from one story to the next, but not sure if it was me because at times I didn't seem to catch when one story ended and the next one began, like there may not have been an introduction between stories. Overall, it was a pleasure listening to them and I cannot wait to see what the author writes next.
