I’m giving this a 4 star mainly because the narrators were so good. I honestly just didn’t care for the story that much. For me there was just too much inner dialogue and not enough actual conversations with anyone. Kayla was very back and forth to me. One minute she talks about running and not wanting anything to do with Adryan and then the next she can’t get close enough to him.

I could understand the way he felt towards Kayla, she was his fated mate after all. So him being over the top most of the time, didn’t really bother me. It did get annoying to constantly hear about how much of a bada$$ he was. I didn’t need to hear about it all the time, just prove it.

This was the first book by this author for me and since the books on in Kindle Unlimited, I might read the others just to get their stories.

As I said earlier, the narrators saved this book for me. I really love Stella Hunter. She is in my top 5 female narrators. Jason Clarke is perfect as Adryan. His voice was so deep and growly, it was just perfect.

I enjoyed every minute of this book! The heat factor was OFF THE CHARTS, but it was more than that. It also had action that had me on the edge of my seat not knowing what was going to happen. Finding their true mate and defending that bond with everything they have.

Kayla has had no luck in the guy department and can’t figure out why, until she has a chance meeting with dark stranger in a club one night that awakens her body like no one ever has. Adryan, head of the American Vampire clan, due to the way his kind bonds, never gets aroused by a woman unless they’re his fated mate. When he senses Kayla in his club, he has to have her.

This is probably the naughtiest book I’ve listened to in quite some time. Praise, voyeurism, the list goes on. I have so many bookmarks in this audio. I loved this book so much and enjoyed getting to know the characters that I have to start back at book 1 so I can know everyone!

Stella Hunter and Jason Clarke are absolutely fantastic in this audiobook. Performances that will leave you breathless. They amazing together! This book is a MUST HAVE in audio. Trust me! Possibly the dirtiest I have ever heard Jason Clarke.

I love Jennika Snow books! I’m working my way through the series. I also love the narrators Jason Clarke and Stella Hunter. They really bring life to the characters. I felt like I was right there with them at some point. I love the way they capture the emotions perfectly. The book itself was so awesome! I’m a big fan of Fantasy stories and Jennika Snow never fails to deliver! Awesomely Amazing!

Holy Smokes on a cracker! This audiobook was thrilling, sexy, sweet with a bit of darkness thrown in. Adryan and Kayla had intense, scorching hot chemistry. I absolutely loved this story! I haven’t read a vampire romance in a while and this one was perfect to fill that void. Adryan was a sexy psychopath, ruthless vampire king who would do anything to keep his mate safe. He was just growly enough to make me fall for him. Kayla was feisty and brave and always called Adryan out even if he was a bit crazy. She was the perfect match for Adryan. This audiobook was performed in duet style narration by two of my favorite narrators, Jason Clarke and Stella Hunter with a cameo by Aaron Shedlock. I have grown quite fond go Jason’s voice, it has the perfect growly tone to make Adryan come to life. He captured Adryan’s ruthless and tender and sweet sides, perfectly. His range of accents did not skip a beat and did a great job portraying the Scottish lycans. Stella Hunter always is wonderful, and her performance as Kayla was great. She captured Kayla’s vulnerability, fiesty and sultry personality brilliantly. You can never go wrong listening to these two narrate. Aaron Shedlock’s narration of the last chapter was fantastic. We get a preview of the next book and sounds like a good one. If you love paranormal romance, check this book out.

I knew I had to have this book because I haven't listened to vampire Jason before.

He and Stella are HOT in this steamy PNR romance !
Jenika Snow is brand new to me, and she didn't hold back on all the dark and dirty lovin! see chapter 23! holy hotness Batman!!

If you like your PNR with a bite, you'll want this audio!!

so I've listened to a couple of the retellings from this author & Loved them and in my 2 Fav narrators & I was hooked. this one is different it's part of a series but I started in the wrong spot oh well.. Stella Hunter & Jason Clarke killed it & the bits he did as a Russian Mobster left me wishing he had more😉. no spoilers but for a push this is the Head Vampire in the US finding & keeping his lady
Plot 4/5 Spice 3/5 Performances 9/10 Overall Book Score 8/10

After listening to this I hope the first few books in this series are released in audio...WOW. First of all the duet narration is incredible and Jason Clarke as Adryn is so perfect. Everything I want in a vampire romance...dark, a little taboo, OTT jealous
possessive alpha, action, suspense and HOT!! Can't wait for more!
