This book wasn’t as good as the previous four in the series. This one wasn’t as steamy. I felt that Genny and Brody’s romance was lacking in many places. Still worth the credit though!

I am sorry to see this amazing series come to an end, I am going to miss these awesome characters. Kimberly Dean is a gifted author with a wonderful writing style, I enjoyed the stories and characters she created in this series, each book featured a different couple while main characters appeared in books throughout the series. This book brings Genieve and Brody Haynes to the forefront, they played major roles in the previous book “Courting Suspicion” so the same storylines spill into this book but in their point of view with more details on their end. I loved how Kimberly Dean tied it all together and wrapped up all storylines. Brody, the lawyer and the fixer, he is taken with Geneive, he worked for the Senator who got caught with his pants down by the news media. Brody took control of the situation and manipulated it in his favor by getting Genieve away from the senator and then signing an exclusive contract with her. He hid behind he excuse it was for her own protection. Genieve considers her future and what she wants to do, she has ideas and money saved. Brody wants a future with her but when she learns he helped someone who tried to hurt her she bails on him. He never considered how it would look in her eyes. Can he win her back, will she believe him after she hears him out. Nina has a proposition for Genieve and she gets a better idea of what she wants to do. I loved how everything plays out in this book, Nina’s sacrifice for love, Genieve takes the step in her career and Brody learns his lesson too. And Erin finally cooks something edible, LOL! All the books in this series are awesome, I highly recommend them all and reading and/or listening to them in order to get the most out of them. Like all the others in the series this book is cleverly plotted with plenty of drama, some angst, twists & turns, heartfelt and emotional moments as well as hot romance. Kimberly Dean, thank you for this awesome story and series, I hope this is not the last we hear from these awesome characters!

🎧📚🎧 And for the wonderful narration, Jill Smith is a talented narrator and voice artist. She brings these characters to life, giving each their own distinct voice making it easy to follow along and tell who is who. Her portrayal of each character is spot on, she grasps each character’s persona, makes them believable and sounding just as I picture them to sound. She sets the perfect tone for the story, captures all the character’s emotions and projects them into her performance. She is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for the awesome listen🎧

This girl loved her job!! and her "fixer" is there to mix it all up for her and her for him. I loved this book. An escort to a politician and the political "fixer" that is great at solving other people's problems. This book had the very best ending as well.
I loved every book in the series. Steamy, hot, romance. What an interesting twist to a modern love story.

I liked it! This entire series was pretty good! The narration was good and kept me entertained! The author did a good job with the character builds and plot! I look forward to reading more of her books! I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
