If you only read one Bentley Little book this isn't the one. If you're a Bentley Little fan, definitely read it.

Slightly different than some of his books but it's still great.

was excited to find one of his books I hadn't seen before, but I think I should have passed it by. not a good listen at all. especially if you have any young people around! WOW***** THE LANGUAGE!!!

I knew what to expect from a Bentley Little book, but this book got boring at the end when all the action started. The build up already explained what was going on so when it happened, I'm like, yeah I get it. They want to do this but they don't want to, just like they have throughout the whole book. I just want it to be over at this point. If you want boring violent sex scenes throughout the book, you might like it. Also, the story line is kind of sloppy and doesn't flow well. Good performance by the narrator though.

That was definitely an out of pocket horror novel. But the reader was amazing!! 4/5 overall.

This is my foray into Bentley little, so I don’t know how to gauge it in comparison to the rest of his writings.

Little set up a great story here, the build up to the actual main event is some pretty damned good writing, very reminiscent of Stephen kings novel salems lot. That being said once little blew his narrative load through a large event it seemed more like a creepy pasta on tumblr that would be read to me through some YouTuber. Also like Stephen king, little wrote a a pretty lack luster ending, very very similar to the stand.

The writing was great, the build up was phenomenal, the characters where hit and miss, dialogue was somewhat believable, post “event” it’s pretty difficult to listen to.

I still think The Resort is my favorite but this is a close second. I like the other books like The Mailman and Dispatch but Dominion just so expertly weaves together so many awesome themes it just stands out. If you like mythology, gore, suspense, horror, and some humor this book checks all the boxes.

I usually like his books. Sometimes there just to sexual for no reason but this one is disturbing.
