This book picks up soon after book 1.
I rather liked seeing the characters realize how much work it takes to deal with the impact ptsd takes in relationships. It's an ever evolving issue that takes vulnerability and communication that our two MC's had to figure out how to work through.
Minor Spoilers - but plot points I enjoyed:
+ No 3rd act break
+ they got some sort of revenge on the SA-er
I'm curious enough to continue the series, but I might be skipping the next one due to the MMC's name ... but I really want to know Andrea's story - I'm so torn.
🎧 Sally Barron, the audiobook narrator, did an okay job reading the book; again, some of the character voice choices were a bit odd but overall it was an easy listen.
Note: I was gifted a code to listen & review the audiobook by the author.
