The only problem I found with this series is that it had to end. I wanted more !! The narrators were fantastic and no one could have done a better job ! Story was great ! Great job, Kahlen !! Looking forward to reading more of your books !!

a series that entranced me with some great narrators. I will be looking into more from this author. her characters we're both intelligent smart working people that had to deal with some personal issues along with consequences that came from the job. I know I'm not giving enough credit to the story. But I will say it was absolutely fantastic!

The story was so interesting, of course the love story, but also a great adventure & mystery. It had it ALL! The narration by Zachary Webber was the best, he is so sexy, makes you feel it dripping from him. Jessie Briar was also very good. A great combination!

Promises After Dark is the third book in the After Dark series by Kahlen Aymes. Get ready to experience all the fiery passion Angel and Alex are known for plus so much drama and suspense. The narrators bring this book to life and makes Alex even hotter than I imagined him!

Angel and Alex couldn't be happier together, but there's just one thing keeping their life from being perfect, Mark Swanson, the psychopath who is after Angel and making her pay for having him arrested. Alex will stop at nothing to keep Angel safe. She is his everything. His reason to breathe. Alex turns to an unlikely ally to help him find Swanson. Will he be able to stop him before it's too late?

I was on the edge of my seat and couldn't stop listening. I cried with them and laughed with them. What a perfect ending to Alex and Angel's story. This book is a definite five star read for me!

This was a fun trio of books from an author I was not familiar with. This could have been condensed into 2books if all the whining had been left out. The 2nd book is loaded with Angels anxieties and fears. Psychologists generally have to go through lots of counseling for their own stuff before they can counsel others. She had so many trust issues and insecurities that I wanted to tell her to shut up! I stayed with it because I love Zac Webber’s narration. Alex was a champ and Angel finally got over herself.

Narrator review: The narrator was good but had moments over dramatic parts. It affected how I viewed certain scenes.

Story Review: I've never had a book series that had me waiver so much on my like or dislike of the books. I loved book 1, tolerated book 2 and liked book 3. I'm not a huge fan of pushing away and constant arguing which is the sum of book 2. What made it even worse for me was that the couples wasn't together for the majority of that book. If you like that sort of thing, you will love this series. Thankfully, book 3 dealt with less pushing/arguing and more with the couple working together in the face of danger. I think this series had such potential to being in my top 5. It is well written, the characters are mature and intriguing and the plot was exciting. Unfortunately, book 2 cast a dark cloud over the whole series for me.

LOVED this book! This was the perfect ending to this series! Drama, suspense and steamy romance - I could not ask for more! The narration was great! I highly recommend this series!

Anythink narrated by Zachary Webber is worth listening too. I like all the characters I do not like how Angels character later in the story became more of a little whiner but you can't get everything overall the story is good

I absolutely loved this book! It was a perfect ending to Alex and Angel's story. I was so engrossed in this book and then I didn't want it to end. This series is a must read and you won't regret it.
