I am continually amazed by the intense omega-verse that V.T. Bonds is able to share with us, especially in her Warrior Elite series.

Subject 66C and Lyc’s story punched a hole in my heart. It took an even deeper step into the world of the ISC and the incredibly dangerous and deadly scientists, Enforcers, and the Director who took young Omegas and experimented on them.

Watching Lyc’s turmoil, as his visions provided endlessly hostile results, also kept this story perilously close to the edge of sanity. A happy ending is fleeting in a world of such terror, but Bonds uses her language to build bridges of understanding between unexpected mates.

Kurt Bonnem and Tieran Wilder do this fabulous book justice and narrating partners. I especially enjoyed Tieran’s narration. .

Protected and Punished, book 4 in her series, defies true romanticism, yet provides it nonetheless.

This story was definitely a bit darker than the previous ones in this series. The levels of pain and depravity that the ISC scientists inflict is brutal and appalling. Lyc and subject 66C must do whatever it takes to survive. Very intense and the audio narration really pulled the character emotions out!!

PROTECTED AND PUNISHED - The lead female’s story is so compelling and her struggles captivated me throughout the entire story. I adored Tieran Wilders’ voice bringing the main character to life. Her different voice levels were so on point. Tieran voice was very captivating. Curt Bonnem’s was ok reading the main male character. I wasn’t as captivated by his voice, and my heart didn’t raise when he spoke. Still ok narration all in all. I do recommend this audible to experiencing a great story, world, characters and series by this author. There is action, suspense, and romance. Warning, please have tissue handy.

Really fantastic performance by the narrators. Great plot it's twisted, dark violent and steamy. The characters are likeable and I really enjoyed the darker side with these characters. I'm excited to listen to the next book. I recommend this book.

This is Book 4 of the Warrior Elite series. I have not listened to the previous books in the series, but I was able to jump into the story without too much trouble. I’m sure the extra background from the previous audiobooks would only enhance the experience. The same male narrator voiced all of the audiobooks, so the continuity is great. Male characters were voiced by Curt Bonnem. Female characters were voiced by Tieran Wilder. As another reviewer has said - “ Really glad that two narrators were used – it makes such a difference to hear male dialogue with a male voice and female dialogue with a female voice.“ I have to say I liked both narrator’s voices, but my favorite was Tieran Wilder. Her female narration had an extra depth that really resonated with me.

This is a dark Omegaverse where Alphas rule, Betas obey and Omegas just try to live. Sometimes an Alpha finds his “perfect match” Omega, this is that story. The “bad guys” are the International Science Corps or ISC; to the majority of the galaxy they are good. The truth is that they are doing inhumane experiments. Lyc is an Alpha male and part of the resistance. He also has premonitions or visions, but when the events he “sees” will actually occur is vague at best. Lyc is captured by the bad guys and ends up at one of the ISC’s “test” facilities. He is dubbed “Subject 869” in this prison and is thrown together with the female known only as “Subject 66C”. She has only ever known this painful prison. Her role is to pry the hurtful rage and thoughts from other rampaging subjects. Essentially calming them with her ability. The story definitely has some dark themes, so be aware. Lyc recognizes Subject 66C as his “one” - his mate. The story revolves around their relationship and how they can escape this dark, dark prison. A few of the cruel jailers find their bad karma “returning” to them so to speak. Great audiobook with dark action, violence and spicy times as well. The chemistry between these two is off the scale. This Omegaverse is action packed with a great HEA.

This is a book 4 in a warrior elite series. Fast paced with lots of heartbreak and heat. Two characters go through so much pain but still able to love and be happy at the end.
I love the duet narration, it bring the story to life for me while listening. Narrators did a great job of acting out the story.

This series in audio format are my new favorite obsession. I really love how it makes these stories just come to life. Hearing the raw emotions of this story and the alpha possessive growl is everything! Loved this!!

This is a series about strong alpha beings who are sort of military adjacent. While in missions to save people from the villains ISC. This one’s about Lick. He was along awaited story for me. So good must read/listen.

I loved this book. I was both fascinated by omega Subject 66C's abilities, and heartbroken by the pain she suffers, and how she is tortured so as to ascertain what her body can handle and heal from. Her abuse is probably worse than that of the omegas in the previous books in my opinion. She is such a powerful and strong-minded woman- to keep her composure and not show fear or pain. I really admired her for that. Lyc was captured and 66C was sent in to deal with his rage. I liked the way that they communicated during this exchange without words and yet managed to glean an understanding of each other. I found this story was riveting and my favorite in the series so far.

I listened to this as an audiobook. Curt Bonnem continues to voice the males in this series, and we get a new female narrator for the heroines. I thought Tieran Wilder was a perfect match for 66C. I don't know if it was her tone or her inflection, but as soon as I heard her speak, I knew she was perfect for this heroine.

This story had me feeling so many emotions with the characters. It is an intense story, that the narration only helped portray more. Subject 6CC and Lyc are an amazing pairing. Her past is heartbreaking and at points gut wrenching. Both narrator did an excellent job in bring these characters to life even more so. Curt had an incredible grow and Tieran conveyed underlying emotions so well in her tone.
