As book five in the series this was a great addition. I enjoyed the storyline it was exciting and entertaining. The characters are intriguing and I enjoyed there by play. The narration was good.

The story is following Macy and Steil. Story is fast paced and full of angst, adventure and heat. This story is not as dark as some other ones in a series. Could be read as a standalone but I would recommend read the series in other so you can follow the story of ISC and not just individual couple.
The audio is a duet narration which brings the story to life. Narrators did a great with the story.

When Macy was at the cusp of complete success as a designer, the IFC threw her career a total curve ball. No longer a beta, she is left to accept her new designation as an omega. Steele is one of the last of his unit without an omega mate. Then he scents Macy and everything changes for Steele. He'll do anything at all to protect and care for her, even if that means leaving her alone. Great storyline. The narration was spot on.

Story: Fashion designer Macy (h) is on the cusp of achieving the success she’s longed for when she’s kidnapped by International Science Corps (ISC) soldiers to be experimented on and changed into something new. Commander Steil (H) ponders the changes in his team as they’ve found their mates when he finds himself drawn to the deserts of Mai’Cus where he finds Macy has been left by the ISC. Macy struggles to accept the changes wrought by the experiments that have transformed the beta-born woman into an omega, even as Steil tries to help his mate, as her knows her to be. Lots of action and adventure takes place, but the story is more about Macy’s balance of her new persona and struggling to retain her old one, even as she comes to accept Steil. A dark and intense fated mates Omegaverse romance with plenty of heat, including heats, rutting, claiming, knotting and more.

Audio: The narrators did an excellent job with this story and really helped bring it to life from the written word. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I really like when authors choose to use two narrators, a male narrator and a female narrator, as it makes such a difference to hear male dialogue with a male voice and female dialogue with a female voice. Curt Bonnem again does an excellent job with the tone of voice he brings to Steil and other male voices, and Lessa Lamb gave Macy voice that seemed to capture her character, from the opening chapter when she’s working as a fashion designer to times when she’s struggling with the changes in her identity.

I really enjoyed this Omegaverse tale of Steil and Macy. Macy is kidnapped killed, then revived into a changed person. She was an up and coming fashion designer and was a beta, however, she was changed into an Omega. Steil is drawn to Macy after she is dumped in the desert and in a bad way. He is actually an amazing, kind Alpha towards Macy and he does what he can to help her.

I listened to the audio and so thought the voice actors were perfect for this story.

Macy is a beta turned into an omega by an evil organization. Steele finds her and knows she his life mate. Nothing will stop him from protecting what’s his. I liked that Macy was narrated by a woman and Steele by a man.

This alien monster tale was a bit confusing. It was slow to begin with and became more interesting as the story went. I found it entertaining and it was a decent listen.

Great plot with intense situations, action, violence, explicit sexual scenes and sarcasm. Macy has a interesting situation. Easy to follow and enjoy. Narration is perfectly performed. I would recommend this book.

I really enjoyed this sci-fi Omegaverse romance! V.T. Bonds’ imagination, and her storytelling is just so beautifully unique, highly detailed, and just fantastical.
SEXY ALIENS FOR THE WIN!!
Macy (our heroine) is at the height of her career as a well respected fashion designer. It’s taken her a long time to get to this point in her career, and she’s happy with her “Beta” life. That all changes when she’s brutally kidnapped, and forced by science to turn into an Omega. Her body was dumped, she was so disoriented, so confused, and in excruciating pain.
Steil (our Alpha hero) is strangely drawn by pure instinct to the exact place Macy was dumped. He flies his transport ship immediately to find and rescue her.
I love all the danger, excitement, and of course all the yummy things that comes with an omegaverse romance. Steil is definitely one of the more “gentle” of Alphas I’ve read, but still he’s all 100% take charge and wanting to bond and rutt!
Lessa Lamb and Curt Bonnem were perfect performing Macy and Steil. I always enjoy and prefer duet style narration, and was so happy this was duet! Curt was great embodying Steils tenderness, possessiveness, and vulnerability. I am a HUGE fan of Lessa! She did an amazing job making me feel all the feelings that Macy was going through.
This audio production was perfect!!

I loved this book. It began very different from the previous books and I was hooked from the start. Macy is a strong, driven woman. I liked her personality and was kind of sad she was forcibly changed from a beta to an omega (the change itself interesting, but that also effected her personality, and I would have loved a story about "her" from the beginning). But still, I found her no less fascinating. She struggled between the new persona that emerged, and trying to retain who she once was. I really liked Steil. He knew something was happening to Macy before he even met her. He's my favorite male lead in this series.

I listened to this on audiobook dual narrated by Curt Bonnem and Lessa Lamb. This is my favorite of Curt's narrations. I really liked his voice for Steil here. I also thought Lessa's voice was perfect for Macy and depicted her personality well.
