I absolutely loved this story! It was by far my favorite of the series! I absolutely fell in love with Raul character! For most of the book you think that Marisol is the broken one until you finally hear Raul past. It's heart breaking and you can't help but root for the 2 of them even more.

I really enjoyed the 2 narrators of this book. I enjoyed the male narrator more than the 2 previous because he wasn't quite so intense it made it easier to understand him better. That being said, I'm married to a Latin man and am around heavily accented people all the time and still struggled to understand the previous 2 books male narrator. This male narrator was great.

At first I was angry thinking this guy was just a bad man after an innocent woman. But, I held on and wow it was so intense. I fell in love myself with Raul. It was sad at times, wow great listening and the narrators did a wonderful job!

This was my favorite of series and the narrators were my favorite too, their voices were more realistic. I loved how sweet he was and still demanding.

Loved this book's content of growing romance in difficult circumstance. I have not heard Noah B Perez and he really brought out the storyline so well! Noah is such an inspiring and captivating Narrator. Hope to hear him in more audible books. Lola James is amazing too! This books was so interesting to listen to, Noah and Lola did such an awesome job narrating it!
Thank you Julia Sykes for such an captivating, romantic, ans suspence filled captive book series!!!

Wonderful Conclusion to series!!!

Raul and Marisol’s story is so emotional, lost of love, family and unrequited love. It’s strange the hold our love ones can inflict so much damage thats ingrained into our core that it take a strong love to break that bond. I must say that I am glad their were a continuation from wicked king into this one. It definitely filled in the missing pieces and certainly sets up the next one. Most of all I’m extremely excited that Marisol and Raul’s story took place mainly around them and their deep rooted hurt. Their pain truly blocked them from talking and sharing with each other, but expressing their pain through passion.

All the stories before this In the series were great. The narrator's were ok, but this story was completely lacking and wasn't good at all. Really struggled to get through it. I don't know. The story line was really annoying to me. Wish Audible would let me return this title. What a waste of a credit.
