Not done yet, but I have to warn that you probably DO NOT want to listen to this book if you’ve been sexually assaulted. While technically consent, there’s a violent rape fantasy scene that’s disturbing. If you’re just too curious, know that you will have to stomach blowing past a few minutes of the storyline before you can move on with the story.

This is the first book in a three part serial. It has mystery, suspense, and sex bundled into a quick read that will leave you wanting more. While character development and story enjoyment are difficult to assess at the moment, I am intrigued by what we have seen thus far. That ending was shocking and has my mind racing with possibilities of what is coming next. Cassia is known for complex characters and thought-provoking stories and I expect nothing less from this series. I am anxious to start installment two and thankful I have the remaining two books ready to go.

The story is so good and the subject is original. The narration is fabulous! Starting Book 2 now to see what happens next!

This is not your typical Cassia story. This is not a sweet romance. This is not a stand-alone. You must listen to all three books for an ending. There is plenty of violence, intrigue, unique characters and crude sex so if you do not like any of these things do not read. If you love listening to stories that are just that, stories that take your mind on an unbelievable, exciting, journey of a young woman thrown in to an unbelievable situation and trained as a super weapon without knowing why this is for you. Just remember that not all fairy tales are about the good prince and princess!

Without spoiling anything, that is not how I expected this book to go. At all. I'm still a little confused, I feel like I have whiplash! I can't wait to keep reading and see what happens next! Definitely worth the read, no doubt about it!

I have never fell in love with a writer so fast!!! OMG!!!! This is only my second Leo book... and WOW... that is all I can say about this book... I cannot hardly wait to read/listen to Unmasked VOL 2... The whole dark romance was awesome...but the end... OMG! WOW... then the fruit in the fridge... OMG!!! I knew it!!!! Seriously... 2 hours has got me hook!!! This was simply awesome!!! One of the best dark romances I have read/listen to an a long time...

This was an unexpected delight. I know this book is supposed to be dark, but it was just delicious. The writing was fresh and engaging and the narration by Kirsten Leigh was perfect. The hero has a French accent and the narrator does the accent in a supremely seductive way, I just wanted the hero’s ‘voice’ to go on and on.

This story had a unique premise and I was completely riveted. It’s an exception for me to love a dark novel and this one totally wowed me. I rarely read the romantic suspense genre, but this book may convert me because the thrill was electric. I did not see the ending coming. Shocking! However, all the clues had been laid out for me and I didn’t realise what they amounted to. When I re-hear this (and I definitely will), I’ll kick myself for having missed the clues the first time.

This is not a stand-alone. It’s part of a three part serial/trilogy. I am glad all three parts are available at this time. I would be fuming if I had to wait for the next instalment. I can’t wait.

Terrible book! The characters were VERY badly written, there was little to no plot through the whole book. I truly regret buying not just this book but the other 2 in the series. I have had the book about a month and still cant make it through to the end.
