Decent second installment, with one BIG PROBLEM.

Throughout the book, there were repeated sentences in the recording. Not one that got missed in the edit, nor a random fragment that slipped through, but tens of times throughout the book. Some chapters have 5 of 6 of them. It is horrifically distracting from the story, and is just sloppy.

Its like no-one listened to the whole book before release, or the editor was fast forwarding through it because there was a deadline, or he wasn't getting paid for the hours needed to do a decent job.

If I hadn't already bought the next installment, I would seriously reconsider doing so.

Love this story. The narrator is great but my biggest issue was the breaks and repeat of certain parts of the story which was distracting during major point in the story. Otherwise this book would have had full marks.

The second instalment of this series was similar to first and certainly tied some loose ends. government conspiracies are tricky to follow because of the current climate in the world. I will continue to follow series but the good guys have to win sometimes or it just gets depressing.

This is an amazing sequel. I listened to this a while back and I only had one issue. But coming back to it in order to get ready for book 3 I was very pleasantly surprised to hear that Erin Bateman re-recorded Su Yun lines. This does leave some weird stitched together cuts, but this is so much better.

This is still a Harem novel but the scanario it's surrounding is oddly familiar. By the end of this book you'll hear things get rounded up just to throw you off the deep end at the finish. Excellent book with cringed Asian accent and probably cringe French accent. I'm raised American with little exposure to proper French. Anyways I'm sure anyone listening to this book kinda know the hero will come through in the end but boy do they cut it close. Can't wait for the next installment.

The first book was great and this is one is even better. I can't wait to see what happens next. I have listened to all of Shawn Keys books and he's quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. Erin Batemans narration is exceptional and brings something extra to the story.

An adult book, most definitely, but with a story line that would stand on its own without the more intimate details.

the last version of this book broke my suspension of disbelief in the last four chapters. I haven't finished this one yet but I definitely will but I wanted to leave this comment. once I finish it if there's anything else worth putting I will post it below. the so-called Korean accent in the fifth chapter of the book is atrocious. the reader is quite good so the way she butcher's this accent is really heartbreaking. it's her performance which carried me through the tiresome harem action dribble. the eugenics plot line is very interesting and it's one of the reasons I stay but her reading is quite good but this Korean accent man it's so bad it sounds like Mickey Rooney doing a Japanese accent in breakfast with Tiffany's it's that bad. hope this helps

what was it really good plot was turned into a shabby way to add women to the story and more implausible scenarios than one reader can handle. If you just want lusty sex scenes mixed in with a mediocre protagonist who gets everything his way then this is the story for you. overall not very good. I won't continue with this after this book

I absolutely love the characters and story it's an amazing concept however it's glaringly clear that the author had taken all the firearm knowlage is taken from TV and movies. An AR15 is a Simi automatic weapon. One trigger pull means one bullet there is no full auto or burst auto on it. Don't get me wrong the story and characters are absolutely amazing and is a must read in my book. But as a AR enthusiasts and owner this is rediculous.
