Great book, fair performance

loved the reader's enthusiasm with the characters, however he could do with looking a few words up for the correct pronunciation, and occasionally the jarring sound of a page turning loudly can be heard.

Historia
Zack Lightman has never much cared for reality. He vastly prefers the countless science-fiction movies, books, and videogames he's spent his life consuming. And too often, he catches himself wishing that some fantastic, impossible, world-altering event could arrive to whisk him off on a grand spacefaring adventure.

Almost Perfect
Revisado: 04-12-22
Absolutely loved this book when I first read it, and loved listening to it while working... For the most part the narrator does a great job, but there are a few pop culture references you can tell he doesn't know, if he can mimic peewee's lines he should be able to do the voice for "somebody set us up the bomb" or actually know the song from team America: world police "America, hell yeah. here to save the mother'f***ing day yeah" when it says the characters sing it. although the most jarring point was the readers attempt at an "English" accent...
