Great story
Revisado: 09-05-23
I loved the overall story it really hooks you with the highs and lows of the main characters and if they choose the easy path or the hard path. You start out not sure if you want to root for the dragons but by then end well.... You'll see great narration highly recommend

Historia
Two hotter-than-hell boyfriends to juggle, one merciless archangel who wants me dead, and then there's Francis. I still don't know what his deal is, and after that fateful night in the caves beneath the Academy, I'm not sure I want to know. Everything around me is changing, but I'm the same. I'm still the only human. No powers, no special skills to speak of. Just a prophecy that says a human will one day retire the most powerful Grim Reaper alive, but I doubt I'm the savior the supernatural world has been waiting for. If I am, the implications are too horrible.

Good story though I could do without some details
Revisado: 05-04-20
In general this is a very good story, the presentation by the reader is easy to listen to and the story will suck you in. I'm about halfway done with this 2nd in the series. My only complaint would be the author goes into too much detail about Milas sexual escapades.. you think she's going to leave something to the imagination.. nope full description of Milas entire events with 2 guys and I mean detailed -- i was listening in my car and I was like I thought I was getting a dark fantasy type novel not porn.. fast forwarding through these parts and the story itself is solid... really there was no need for that.. otherwise as I said.. if you liked the first book you'll enjoy this one just be aware that there are a few of those events with Mila within the story that you may want to skip.. I have enjoyed Milas character arc and finding out who she is ... I'll leave the rest for others to disclose... read / listen to the book and see for yourself :)

Great Story - decent narration
Revisado: 11-03-16
Would you listen to The Dark Army again? Why?
No one time through is enough I rarely re-listen to books.
What did you like best about this story?
The continuation of the story of Tom Ward post death and what happened to Alice and Jenny etc.. can't wait for the next one in the series
Which scene was your favorite?
The creativity of using the boggart in the way that tom does and also the continued closeness he comes to death and how he's saved is pretty amazing.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes
Any additional comments?
While the story was great I find that while I tolerate it I'm not a huge fan of doing the 2 narrator thing it's a bit confusing.. I would rather have either one reader host all the voices or at the least have one reader host the male voice and the other host the female voices not intertwine them so just as you get used to hearing say Toms voice from the Male reader suddenly it shifts to Jenny's' perspective and now you're hearing Toms voice from the female reader.. but the story is good enough that you can tolerate it.. I just hope that this changes for future readings... please pick one.. either each do their part or just have one
