Sweet and Christmas-y. Nice story line short but well developed. The leads are interesting and the I’m looking forward to the coming stories of the brothers

Beautiful and sad and uplifting love

To understand how people were treated when they had special situations within their selves, whether it was autism or ADD or a hearing loss or a physical difficulty or just different personalities traits that society at the time did not accept.

This story reminds us how far we have come in accepting those who are unique. And yet how far we still need to go. It’s a beautiful love story

One has to truly read it. Listen to it and imagine sadly how strong someone would have to be in order to rise above how society treated them at this time. And to see the love that a woman could give a man. Acceptance, beautiful acceptance, a story worth reading.

Creative storyline

Fun and creative storyline. I think they could punch up the romance just a little bit and it would be really nicely balanced. There is a love interest in the story, but it doesn’t seem very adult sometimes. I don’t need them kissing and slobbering all over each other, but I think a little kiss heat and slight heat adult contact would be a good balance to the fun in the story as well, and the two H&h are well matched and fun intelligent couple. But the storyline has been very good. I accidentally fell on the first book grab the second book and now I’m looking to the third book it also looks like they’re growing some of the characters skill sets, which is interesting.

Blue stockings rock

A different type of storyline very interesting. It’s hard sometimes to realize the constraints women had on them 120 years ago and how far we’ve come in yet sometimes we haven’t come very far. The blue stockings in this book series are very interesting. I found this to be good, although the first two were probably my most favorite maybe I just read them too much in a row and some of the things about both the. H&h started to bother me. But overall it’s a great stories series.

A unique twist on a wonderful love story

I have enjoyed all the books in the series so far. But this one sticks out because of its unique approach to the characters and storyline. They were not initially lovable. You got to know them and realized they were human and had strengths and weaknesses and faults and true caring for those around them.

The book also did not rush the relationship. It took time months for them to come together. And that was another thing that made it good. It also points out that lives are not always pretty, and they certainly were not at the time these books were set in. We’ve come along way, but we still have ways to go .

The series doesn’t lecture, but it certainly leaves you thinking about a variety of things. Read them, but read them in order.

A very different love story.

It was a different kind of love story, because both characters had live said, had history to them, and for the woman, she certainly had worked hard to get to where she was in a time of the world where women’s work was not accepted. Very real in its emotions and dialogue. Truly enjoyed it.  There is also good suspense in the story.

I liked the whole story. Hard to believe women still must fight at times for their place or credit. The characters were good with an interesting storyline and nice secondary characters, good ending. I’m interested to see what happens with the next story.

Well done story and romance.

Overall, I enjoyed the story very much. The story was well done and the characters nicely developed and intertwined.

I would’ve enjoyed it if it were just a touch longer just adding a chapter here and there would have been nice. (It seemed to move fast and yet it was well timed, not sure that makes sense). The reason for the conflict between the two main characters, was clear and justifiable I would have like it to carry on just a chapter or two longer. Their coming together was a wee bit fast. And maybe another chapter or two of her looking into the mystery. But really the book did flow nicely. I really liked the other characters, introductions and development was very nice. I liked the different personalities and educational topics. You very much has me ready to pick up with the next book to here see what happens next definitely would read these books in order totally enjoyed!

The witty repartee between the characters is really great. Enjoyed the story. I wish the third book were in audio format. As the reader is very good. And does a great job of bringing the characters to life.

Good story with action in love

I’ve listened to all three books in the Siri. They’ve all had good start characters, interesting, storylines, and certain amount of action which is great. I love the family connection. And would recommend them they’re good listening for traveling or just getting away from wherever you are.
