Historia
Behind most major political stories in the modern era, there is an agenda - an effort by opposition researchers, spin doctors, and outside interests to destroy an idea or a person. The tactic they use is the Smear. Every day, Americans are influenced by the Smear without knowing it. Paid forces cleverly shape virtually every image you cross. Maybe you read that Donald Trump is a racist misogynist or saw someone on the news mocking the Bernie Sanders campaign. The trick of the Smear is that it is often based on some shred of truth.

Great Reporting
Revisado: 12-30-14
If you could sum up Stonewalled in three words, what would they be?
clear, concise, scary
What was one of the most memorable moments of Stonewalled?
As I listen to this book, I can't help but think I am listening to a story about North Korea or some other third world country controlled by a dictator instead of the United States, a supposed free and democratic society. Clearly the administration believes that the ends justifies the means even if it means breaking the law, lying, and stonewalling an interested competent reporter that just wants the truth. I am reminded of Jack Nicholsons role in A Few Good Men, when he says "YOU CAN"T HANDLE THE TRUTH!" so we aren't going to share it with you.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
There are so many documented facts and the details so shocking, I have had to rewind many times to make sure I actually heard the audacity of our government and the complicit media that enables the fraud.
Any additional comments?
I highly recommend this book if you want the truth instead of the spin. Just be prepared to be angry, but not angry at Mrs. Attkinsson and her excellent work. I am a fan.

Revisado: 08-07-13
Would you try another book from Brad Meltzer and/or Scott Brick?
I have always enjoyed Meltzer, but this one was really hard to follow in audio. I almost gave up four or five times. I had to force myself to finish it.
What was most disappointing about Brad Meltzer’s story?
I can't put my finger on what was wrong with it, but I know I can't recommend it.
What didn’t you like about Scott Brick’s performance?
It was fine.

The Roots of Obama’s Rage

Historia
D’Souza explains that the reason Obama appears to be working to destroy America from within is found, as Obama himself admits, in The Dreams of My Father: a deeply hostile anticolonialism. Instilled in him by his father, this worldview has led President Obama to resent America and everything we stand for. D’Souza masterfully shows how Obama is working to weaken and punish America here and abroad.

This book answers who is and what drives Obama
Revisado: 08-17-12
What other book might you compare The Roots of Obama’s Rage to and why?
Godforsaken
What about Sean Runnette’s performance did you like?
I thought it was good overall.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
This book is well researched and builds its explanation logically and methodically.
Any additional comments?
I first read Dinesh D’Souza's book, Godforsaken and it strengthened my faith and answered many questions for me as a Christian. I was hesitant to read a "political hit job book" on Obama, but decided D'Souza would not take that approach given my experience reading Godforsaken.I was correct. Excellent book. Dinesh D’Souza's explanation of Obama's motivations and world view explain what I thought was once unexplainable.

Inside the Revolution takes you inside the winner-take-all battle for the hearts, minds and souls of the people of the Middle East.
It includes never-before-seen profiles of The Radicals, The Reformers and The Revivalists. It explains the implications of each movement, the importance of each leader, and does through not only through the lenses of politics and economics but through the third lens of Scripture. Today, wars and revolutions define the modern Middle East, and many believe the worst is yet to come.

Encouraging and Enlightening

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Absolutely, I would recommend it.
What did you like best about this story?
Rarely reported details about growing rejection of radical Islam and the encouraging progress within hard line countries. It was well researched and ended encouragingly. It gave me compassion for the people living in Iran and similar countries and restored my belief that we are more alike than different.

Historia
For a lot of people, the biggest question about God isn't, surprisingly enough, whether he exists. Instead, it's about whether God is truly good. Dinesh D'Souza, in his debates with leading atheists, quickly realized that many of his debates would revolve around the question of evil in this world and how God could create a world that allowed such suffering and evil. In Godforsaken, Dinesh D'Souza takes these questions head-on. Does God act like a tyrant? Is God really responsible for the evil in this world? Why is there suffering in the world?

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I don't agree with everything D'Souza says, but it enriched my faith and made me think. It definitely answers the question of why bad things happen and is there a God who cares? Well worth the time. I highly recommend it.
