Slow
Revisado: 05-06-25
Bad narration, boring voice, gravely, can’t always tell who is talking. The story only redeems itself in the last few chapters.
I cannot recommend this book and definitely not the narrator.

Amateurish
Revisado: 05-03-25
Savanna drove me crazy arguing constantly with her husband. Narrator does a poor job with the voice of the female characters, when Andy, a female FBI agent is talking, she sounds like a man. The ending is very unclear about what happens to Reuben, the main character.
I listened to the ending several times and still do not know. Anyway all through the story Reuben does everything for his wife even when his life is in danger and all she does is betray him.

Mosley, I love Freda McFadden’s books; however, she really let me down on this one. It flipping, flopped so often, I did not know what character was talking. I wish I had my time and money back on this one. Terrible narrator. I do not recommend this book.

Historia
Kat Grant and Alice Campbell have a friendship forged in shared confidences and long lunches lubricated by expensive wine. Though they're very different women - the artsy socialite and the struggling suburbanite - they're each other's rocks. But even rocks crumble under pressure. Like when Kat's financier husband, Howard, plunges to his death from the second-floor balcony of their South Florida mansion. Howard was a jerk, a drunk, a bully, and, police say, a murder victim. The questions begin piling up.

Well, I thought I knew what was going to happen, and what did happen, but, I really missed it. The ending was very revealing, not expected at all. It is fun to be fooled by the writer sometimes.
First time with this author, but certainly not my last.
Highly recommend this book.

Historia
On a flight from London to Boston, Ted Severson meets the stunning and mysterious Lily Kintner. Sharing one too many martinis, the strangers begin to play a game of truth, revealing intimate details about themselves. Ted talks about his marriage that’s going stale and his wife, Miranda, who he’s sure is cheating on him. Ted and his wife were a mismatch from the start - he the rich businessman, she the artistic free spirit - a contrast that once inflamed their passion but has now become a cliché. But their game turns a little darker when Ted jokes that he could kill Miranda....

Interesting story, cliffhanger
Revisado: 04-19-25
This was my first book by this author, but will not be my last. All narration was good except the voice of Miranda.
Love the way the author made Lily seem almost normal. I actually thought, what would happen, when they sold the property with the well, and what an interesting ending it would make.
Anyway I totally enjoyed the book and highly recommend it.

writer that has it all, good story, and narration. I would recommend this book.

Not a thriller or page turner by any means but a good read.
Revisado: 04-12-25
It would have been better if the narrator’s voices for the characters had not sounded nearly the same, sometimes it was hard to know who was talking. What I enjoyed most about the book was the religious and spiritual overtones it had and the way the writer wove those into the story. The author did a good job developing the main characters.
I would recommend the book.

Historia
I’m a second-rate artist living a solitary existence in my late parents’ rundown house. So why would a team of killers want to murder me and frame it as a suicide? Seems a fact worth knowing. I survive the ordeal only to discover my would-be executioners left behind a suicide note written in words that sound uncannily like mine. But that’s not the most disturbing part. The note reveals a secret from my past nobody could possibly know about—one that’s been haunting my life for eighteen years.

Good story,
Revisado: 04-10-25
Even with a good book, with a bad narrator can nearly ruin it. The monotone voice of the narrator takes so much away from the audiobook.
Good ending, no surprise with some of the characters, but a small twist with some . I recommend the book to read but not as an audio one.

Very disappointing
Revisado: 03-20-25
Long, boring and the narrator for Molly, nearly drove me crazy. This should have been a good story because of the story line, but boy, was I disappointed with the none development of the characters and how the writer reveals snippets here and there. What was supposed to be tense was a letdown. I do do recommend this book and wish I had my credit back
