Fantastic charming sweet fairytale.

I love this charming story. It masterfully deals with the reality and darkness of life while remaining hopeful and sweet! It educates the reader in historical political dynamics and the realities of power struggles, yet still has a kind and endearing fairy tale ending because of the author's narration. The ending reminds me of some of the strongest people's survival stories, as well as the hope, forgiveness, peace and gratefulness they embody.

Rooted in God's promises and hope

The main premise of the book is that God makes all thing good in this time. We can rest in the promises and goodness of God. Suffering is real, but faith will help us see through the darkest of times and let us rest and depend on God's protection and guidance.

The book gives a much needed emphasis on God's promises.

Authentic voice

She gives strong reminders with humility and humor and love. Her faith is a reminder of the power of prayer, and her call too have our lives completely and fully devote to God is something that is a much-needed reminder in our attention divided world.

amazing story of adventure, risk, and love

What a reminder of God's love and how He is more than enough in the worst of situations. It gives me hope and reminds me that my purpose is to serve and not for self gain. I pray that Darlene's service and passion for God will be reflected in all our lives from the mundane, to the world of finance, to the craziness of startups, to home life and friends. She was an adventurer, minister, and loving presence.

Surprising, grounded and inspiring

I was not expecting to be interested in reading this book until I listen to an excerpt. after going through the book it is surprisingly interesting. It is easy to identify with Michelle's lower to middle class background and striving to get a good education and having a focus on family. it's refreshing to hear such good family values held in conjunction with two working professional parents. This is truly a story of the opportunities available in the US and what makes the country great.

Amazing book, person, integrity, and story

Excellent story about passion and principle to serve the country and do the right thing. Comey is serving a higher God. The story is grounded in reality and facts. Good job Comey. Thank you for being an example of service to a team aimed at serving a nation. Your heart, hope, and determination in the face of obstacles is true courage. Thank you for your care, compassion, kindness, and willingness to face adversity for the sake of what is good.
