I recommend listening to this more than once as it is helpful in many contexts, at home or work or community, and it applies to all levels of learners.

Have to get past the profanity for the good bits

Written to women by a woman -- provides very good financial basics broken down into manageable chunks and presented in an interesting way. The author begins with a truckload of profanity -- perhaps this was deemed necessary so as not to scare millennial women away from the "dry" subject of finances, but in truth I persisted in listening, not because of the profanity but entirely despite it. I did appreciate the very practical wisdom of the food chapter and the straight talk of the finances and relationships section. It is very true that "Every woman needs her own money," and this book will do its part to make sure more women have just that.
