Book 1 was simply not edited in the audible collection. It is a shame because a decent story was completely ruined. Thankfully, books 2 & 3 were a much easier listen.

Who is Harriet?

Missing the original charm & characters of the series. The main character, Mary Minor Harristein, has been renamed & lacks the connection to her hometown that drew me to the series. The animals are, as expected and the time period changes don't bother me, but I think it's time to wrap that storyline up.
