A pretty good spin on the usual shtf stuff

A good story continuation, but dammit on the cliffhanger. I enjoyed this series so far, and Kevin Pierce's narration is excellent as usual. Docking 1 star though because of the stupid cliffhanger.

The story begins on opening day of the NFL season, when bullets begin to rain down upon the upper deck of a packed football stadium. A panic stampede ensues, leading to mass casualties. The alleged sniper is found holding a smoking assault rifle, and is killed by a police marksman. One week later, Congress bans the private possession of all semi-automatic assault rifles. Gun owners are given one week to turn in their semi-automatic rifles, or face a five year mandatory sentence.

Good Stuff, Bad Narration and Quality

What was one of the most memorable moments of Enemies Foreign and Domestic?
Trying to get used to the bad narration and worse sound quality. The reader's run on sentences left me empty inside. I overcame, but wow. Worst I've heard since the days of OTR trucking with several books on cassette. But, the book itself contains many memorable moments.
How did the narrator detract from the book?
The differing sound quality from chapter to chapter made it unbearable in parts, laughable in others. Next time, maybe 'ol Mike should try a recording studio or at least read from the same room. If it weren't for the fact that I liked the book itself, I would have requested a refund of my credit.
If you could rename Enemies Foreign and Domestic, what would you call it?
The coming S.H.T.F in America, or Too much food.
