A bit of continuity issues with Darius but otherwise very good. Hope there’s more to this spinoff.

Loved Timothy, Hawk not so much
Revisado: 12-25-24
The book was riveting and entertaining. Timothy was a sympathetic character, Hawk not so much. I found him to be a predator and heartless. The back stabbing and duplicitousness was nerve wracking and is almost as the future administration is believed to portend.

The story, the twists and turns and the huge surprise at the end that I did not see coming make this a fantastic story. Waiting for the movie now.

One of the best stories I’ve heard
Revisado: 09-11-24
Let me get this out of the way: I hated how it ended. I feel like it was a bit anticlimactic finish as there was a gaping hole in the conclusion which will likely never be filled.
The story was believable and funny and sad. It approached a very difficult subject with care, humor and compassion. And in doing so, it humanized a condition that many of us face in a way that made it accessible and consumable. There were obvious plot points that were predictable until they weren’t and a love story that bloomed from an unlikely situation. It had the perfect mix of compassion and supportiveness and friendship that if we all practiced these as humans, the world would be a significantly better place. 10/10. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Historia
The first attack occurs in the underwater caverns of the Bahamas. Two professional divers exploring the unknown. A monstrous flesh-ripping predator they never see coming. Now the attacks are coming closer and closer to shore. A sun-soaked playground for sea-loving tourists. A human feasting ground for whatever lurks beneath.

Great Cryptid Tale!

Mostly good
Revisado: 08-13-24
I think if you have non-American roles you should at least have those characters played by people of those nationalities. That way cultural references are properly pronounced and conveyed. Obeah is pronounced Oh-Be-Ah and not obey. (For awareness, an Obeah woman is a voodoo type common among African descendants in the Caribbean.) the story was good, production value also good. I would’ve given it 5 stars across the board but the mispronunciation of Obeah was just too much for the entire production.

Historia
Sixteen-year-old Jake Livingston sees dead people everywhere. But he can't decide what's worse: being a medium forced to watch the dead play out their last moments on a loop or being at the mercy of racist teachers as one of the few Black students at St. Clair Prep. Both are a living nightmare he wishes he could wake up from. But things at St. Clair start looking up with the arrival of another Black student - the handsome Allister - and for the first time, romance is on the horizon for Jake. Unfortunately, life as a medium is getting worse.

Feels rushed
Revisado: 05-09-24
It was a good story but I feel like there were missing details that didn’t get explained and then the ending was rushed to close out the story. All in all enjoyable but I felt some parts were left out or removed in editing.

I’ve loved Holly from the first
Revisado: 12-01-23
Stephen King knocked this one out of the park. Holly continues to represent the best of humanity with her frailty and idiosyncrasies, proving that the pure of heart will always win. The story was tight and worked well, highlighting why Stephen King is the best at what he does. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I think you will too.
