Historia
Scarlett Vandermeer is swimming upstream. A Junior at Stanford and a student-athlete who specializes in platform diving, Scarlett prefers to keep her head down, concentrating on getting into med school and on recovering from the injury. She has no time for relationships. Swim captain, world champion, all-around aquatics golden boy Lukas Blomqvist thrives on discipline. It’s how he wins gold medals and breaks records: complete focus, with every stroke. On the surface, Lukas and Scarlett have nothing in common. Until a well-guarded secret slips out, and everything changes.

Best Spicy Romance EVER
Revisado: 02-12-25
I cannot tell just how much I loved everything about the two main characters and the trajectory or their relationship…and the spice. So satisfying. The other characters were richly part of the story and the personal challenges of their lives/psyches was perfection.

Historia
Bolivian-Argentinian Inez Olivera belongs to the glittering upper society of nineteenth century Buenos Aires, and like the rest of the world, the town is steeped in old world magic that’s been largely left behind or forgotten. Inez has everything a girl might want, except for the one thing she yearns the most: her globetrotting parents—who frequently leave her behind.

Exquisitely Done
Revisado: 07-02-24
The voices for this book were perfection. I loved the characters and though there were moments when I was so frustrated by the obstinate nature of the “things they couldn’t see past”, I still wanted to keep reading. The characters we hated in the story were despicable and the passion was everywhere. Loved the two settings…Argentina and Egypt. Enjoyed this so much and cannot wait for the next book!!!
