Great story and pretty good narration
Revisado: 04-23-25
The constant mispronunciation of character names was very distracting. He even pronounced Brienne as “brain” half the time and Bryan half the time.

Narration was awful but of course I like the Hardy Boys
Revisado: 12-30-23
Man, this narrator was SO hard to listen to. Nasally, inflection at totally wrong points, and so whiny.
Didn’t do the Hardy Boys justice

The storyline was fine but the narrator was not
Revisado: 12-11-23
I love Ted Dekker books so I chanced this series. The storyline was fine. It had some parts that held my interest but other times I felt like I was trudging through thick mud to try to get through it. I feel like it would have been an overall much easier listen with different narrations. The high pitched too squealing/whining voice really hurt my ears. I fall asleep to books and that wasn’t possible with this one based on the tone alone.

Historia
Eleanor, the charming manager of a cozy tea shop, enjoys the transportive ritual of making a cup of Masala Chai tea, reminisces about the tea's origins, and delights in the beauty of her quaint English village during the holidays. Bedtime stories are narrated by the world's most celebrated voices and written with no beginning, middle, or end so you don't stay up to hear what happens next. They're interesting enough to give your mind something to focus on, but delivered in a way that encourages sleep.

Love it!
Revisado: 03-24-23
Puts me to sleep every time, very peaceful. Don’t listen to the snowflake nay-sayer reviews that are complaining about the storyline. This tells a truthful, lovely, and informative history on chai tea. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that.

Decent for a sleep story
Revisado: 01-29-23
It was interesting enough that I listened to the whole thing, but it was a bit repetitive and I usually ended up falling asleep quickly. It worked out great as a sleep story. The reader was too high pitched in many spots and immediately I had the fingers across a chalkboard chill. I think it probably would have been a lot easier to engage in with a different narrator to be honest. It was well worth a listen for it being free, but I probably would have been disappointed for anything more than $5.

A balanced account of game changes, conflicts and ambitions. The fall from popular grace of the previously adulated brother of the heir to the British throne as a consequence of his marriage to a beautiful and dynamic Hollywood starlet of colour makes for fascinating listening in best-selling royal author Lady Colin Campbell's balanced account. Lady Colin knows her royal history and psychology, and as the first seven years of her adult life were spent in the USA, she has a foot in both the American and British camps.

Utter nonsense
Revisado: 01-27-23
This author seeps of jealousy and complete and utter nonsense. What a waste of time and brain cells. She has lost all her credibility as an “author” for the rest of her life after this rubbish.
