May be my second favorite hunger games book

I know many hunger games fans weren't huge fans of song birds and snakes, and while I certainly don't fall into this category, I do acknowledge it's a departure from what the series normally does. This book is fantastic return to form. it has everything you love about the old hunger games books with enough twists to keep you on your toes. Truly fantastic, probably my 2nd favorite in the series.

This is a fantastic collection of audio drama's following 40k's signature army men. The stories have a good deal of variety of guard regiments including a Catachan jungle fighter, a Cadian tank crew, Elysian flyer, and (most importantly) CIAPHAS CAIN. If your a fan of audio drama's and the guard this is a must read. My only warning is the that this collection shares many of the same stories as some other guard collections so be sure to double check the stories your buying.

This is an incredible collection for ork fans. While each of the stories involve grots and the red gobbo in one way shape or form, each varies wildly taking a new twist on the character. One of the stories protagonist isn't even a group, but a pain boi which was a pleasant change of perspective. Cannot recommend enough.

The first good Tau book on audible, and a must read for Tau fans

Tau have a reputation for having bad books. While usually warranted, this book is the exception. Part hiest, part mystery, part war story, this book uses the Tau to their fullest literary ability. The story follows a group of 5 Tau, one from each caste, attempting to save a captured ethereal from a rebelling human world. The story has several exciting twists and the characters all came to grow on me. This is a must read for Tau fans.

Ciaphas Cain meets Harry Potter

This books takes place a large time skip ahead of the previous titles when Ciaphas is serving as tutor in a Imperium scholar. Seeing Ciaphas juggle the responsibilities of a mentor while also fighting a planetary invasion was a welcome change of pace for the series regular formula. The book also contained some surprisingly heart renching moments that genuinely surprised me. Overall, another fantastic book by Sandy Mitchell, couldn't recommend it enough.

Thos was a fantastic ork book. The Ork parts of the book were funny and action packed, chiefs kiss. My only complaint with the book is that it had a heavy focus on Admech. These section were also written very well, but they're not what I was personally interested in. The voice actor also did an amazing job. The variety of voices he was able to make were truly incredible.

Dark imperium is the the first space marine centered 40k book I've read. While it was not my favorite 40k book (that would be Assasinorum Kingmaker) it is undeniably very good. I believe this is a great starting point for new fans of 40k as well as space marine fans. The book is an easy listen as it focuses on only a few perspectives all of which are written in a very clear and compelling manner.

This book is a great read for anyone who's a fan of the movie adaptation. The charecters and story of the two are pretty similar but their are enough difference to surprise those familiar with its film counter part. My only gripe with the book is that there's a few characters who actions are inconsistent throughout the book, but these are few and far between.

Revisado: 07-15-24

My friends recommended this book and presented it as 40k's "Infinity war", basically a story that includes several factions working together. After reading through the book I can confirm they were correct. The book includes the Guard, the Space marines, the adeptus Sororutus, the imperial knights (very sparingly), the inquisition, the CSM, the world eaters, and a Xenos faction I won't spoil. This gives the book a wide appeal 40k fans, however it comes at the price of switching between too many perspectives. This, combined with a relatively slow start made the book hard to get through at points, however last two chapters made this set up well worth it.
