Would you consider the audio edition of Tonic to be better than the print version?

It's a different experience for me but I always experience scenes a little differently - like reading them it might not be as powerful as hearing it...or vice versa - it just depends. I love both experiences but I LOVED experiencing Tonic for a second time, it's definitely an audio book I'll be listening to again.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Ugh...so many. Loved Hairy :-) Kira stole my heart and don't even get me started on Kazimir!

What about Jason Clarke and Kirsten Leigh ’s performance did you like?

I loved Jason's voice for Joel, it was deep but not overly deep, and he seemed to fit into Joel's personality well. I didn't know I was going to like Kirsten as much as I did, but she has a great tone for Annika - she's an ice princess, so she needs a certain edge and I think Kirsten pulled it off very well.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

The Ice Princess gets tamed by the Hairy Beast :-)

Any additional comments?

I adore Staci's writing and I love getting to experience her books again. Tonic was amazing the first time I read it but experiencing the audio just made me love it that much more.

What made the experience of listening to Unbroken the most enjoyable?

The narrators - I'm always a little cautious trying out new-to-me narrators because that can make or break an audio experience. It doesn't matter how much I love the story, if I can't stand the voice reading it to me, it's going to suck and I was SO glad that I enjoyed Stephanie and Soren as much as I did because they brought life to a really amazing book.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Unbroken?

Oh...there are so many to choose from - I'm torn between the car ride to the cottage on Tybee Island or the Epilogue...both for VERY different reasons, but they're epically amazing in their own ways.

What does Stephanie Rose and Soren Gray bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I thought they did a great job - they didn't over do the accents but did a great job bringing all of the characters to life. I really liked what Stephanie Rose did - I loved her as Embry and even the tone she took with doing Luke's voice worked really well for me.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

All of it! It's a rollercoaster of emotions, in the best ways possible - RE Hunter did a fantastic job of weaving emotion through the story.

Any additional comments?

This is everything that I was looking for in the follow up to Undone - Luke and Embry are one of my favorite couples and I love them to bits, so I'm beyond thrilled that it blew me away as much as it did.

Would you listen to Dirty Red again? Why?

Possibly - it wouldn't be my top choice

What did you like best about this story?

It's unique and goes along well with The Love Me With Lies Series

What does Luci Christian bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She did a good job - I just hate Leah.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The ending

Any additional comments?

Dirty Red is not an easy book to swallow for me because I detest Leah - it's a great character study and it is interesting to some degree plus the writing is phenomenal as usual but it's hard to like a book about someone you loathe.

If you could sum up The Opportunist in three words, what would they be?

Unique, Emotional, Angst

What other book might you compare The Opportunist to and why?

Not possible - The Opportunist is in a league of its own.

Have you listened to any of Andi Arndt’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

This was my first time listening to Andi and it started the love affair I have with her. She does a great job and has a wonderful voice.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

“You can only give your heart away once, after that, everything else will chase your first love” - Olivia Caspen

Any additional comments?

The Opportunist is beyond words for me - the writing is flawless and I have never felt this kind of angst before and everything about this book completely exceeded any and all of my expectations.

What did you love best about Arsen?

How unique it is - it's not your typical happy fluffy love story - there is very little actual happiness, it squeezes your heart to the point of pain.

What other book might you compare Arsen to and why?

I hate comparing books and in this case, I don't think it's possible. Arsen is just in it's own category.

What about Mackenzie Cartwright and Roger Wayne ’s performance did you like?

They did a pretty good job of bringing the character's to life and I liked that Roger varied his voice enough for Ben and Arsen.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Love has consequences.

Any additional comments?

This book is not for everyone and it does deal with cheating, so if that's not something you're okay with, I would steer clear. If you like pushing your boundaries and stepping outside the norm, then I would definitely recommend it.

What made the experience of listening to Grey the most enjoyable?

Zachary Webber! By far and away - his voice was perfect for Christian.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Well...hate to be obvious but, Christian Grey. Although seeing Ana through his eyes was my second favorite :-)

What does Zachary Webber bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

He brings Christian to life - he does a fantastic job.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

All of the same emotions I had with Fifty Shades of Grey but maybe a little bit more in regards to Christian's past because it's his emotions and coming straight from him so it's just got a deeper impact.

Any additional comments?

If you love Fifty Shades then you really can't go wrong with this one.

Where does Broken Juliet rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

One of my favorites

What other book might you compare Broken Juliet to and why?

I can't really compare it to anything - it's the perfect balance of angst, sexiness and humor with fantastic writing and brilliant characters. Its one of my favorite books of all time.

What about Andi Arndt’s performance did you like?

She's perfect! Andi is quickly becoming one of my favorite narrator's.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

YES! I wish I could have.

Any additional comments?

Could not recommend this book more - if you love romance, you will totally love this book!

What did you love best about Hearts in Darkness?

The fact that a novella completely captivated me - it rarely happens. I enjoy a good novella but they're usually too short - this one didn't feel like a novella.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Hearts in Darkness?

Anything and everything that happened in the elevator - it was fantastic!

What about Erin Jones’s performance did you like?

She did a great job performing both parts (it's dual POV) - she wasn't over the top and made the whole listening process enjoyable.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I wasn't expecting as much angst as I got but once again for a novella - it was perfection.

Any additional comments?

L-O-V-E this story to bits, I think everyone should experience it! It's a great way to get introduced to Laura Kaye's magical writing.

If you could sum up The Perfect Game in three words, what would they be?

Passion, Happiness, Journey

What did you like best about this story?

Jack F'n Carter - enough said :-)

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Dara Rosenberg?

Honestly, I don't know - Cassie needs a certain level of enthusiasm and pep but I felt like I was being screamed at half the time (especially Jack) and it got a little annoying.

If you could take any character from The Perfect Game out to dinner, who would it be and why?

Once again....Jack F'n Carter

Any additional comments?

I read the book in 2012 and the core story and everything I loved about Cassie and Jack was still there but the delivery just made me cringe. I felt like the narrator was yelling half the book, it was just too over the top and excitedly dramatic ALL the time and I couldn't stand the way she did Jack's part. If I didn't love the characters and the story so much, I may not have finished the audio.
